Cute! It will rehab nicelyI found this cute mini Abbie yesterday at a local thrift store for $20. Overall really nice shape with the hang-tag. Gave her a bath today and she's currently stuffed and wrapped with towels to dry. I love the shape and color - think it will be a great little summer bagAttached are some before photos. Adorable. I see you have a rehab "helper" giving the bag the sniff test.I found this cute mini Abbie yesterday at a local thrift store for $20. Overall really nice shape with the hang-tag. I did see Acorn and Butterscotch. They got very creative in the '90s.I'm never sure either, and continue to discover color names I've never seen. I just made a list of the "tans" I know of:
British Tan
Saddle
Buckskin
Honey
Camel
Buff (Sonoma)
Marigold (Sonoma)
Chamois (Sonoma, Hamptons)
Birch (Hudson)
I'm sure there are more!

It's probably not mold. It might be bloom or spue. https://alaskawhitestuffid.wordpress.com/2011/08/09/leather-and-skin/Hello all,
How can you tell if a bag has mold? I have a mahogany legacy bag that I just pulled out of the closet. It doesn't have a musty smell, but I noticed what looks like a milky patch just under the buckle. The closet is on the cool side, so I was wondering if perhaps the Blackrock's I applied last year perhaps solidified? I was pretty generous with it and it's a deeply wrinkled area. Maybe it didn't get buffed out? I'm noticing the same 'milkyness' on the underside of the strap on a Legacy Whiskey Bleecker .If I rub with my fingers the milkyness lessens but doesn't completely disappear. These bags haven't been worn in at least 6 months.
I guess with mold I was expecting spots?
Anyone have this experience? I'm not sure if I should start freaking out...all of my vintage Coach bags are in the same closet.
Beautiful! Your pup seems to like it too!View attachment 4054919 View attachment 4054921 Mini Abbie cleaned up nicely with a bath and some Blackrock - easy peasy![]()
Advice, please! I have this bag I have tried to rehab multiple times and finally gave up. The spots are not coming out and one I made worse.

So, I decided to embellish it with various things including some stickers. I think I’m happy with the placement of everything but can’t decide which of these lightning bolts I like better.
