So, I got a "deal" on a Nomad, (black) with some "scratches." What would you professional rehabbers use to best work with these Nomad temperamental leathers? I searched the thread, but for some reason couldn't find anything, although I know I have read stuff about it.
Thank you in advance!
If it is dry, I would start with Leather CPR. If not, I would go straight to Blackrocks Leather n Rich. It is the best conditioner for hiding scratches. I don't think these newer bags will rehab as well as older ones, but the conditioners should help.

Hi again, my apologies it totally slipped my mind. It’s like a brushed faux suede feeling material. Here are photos. View attachment 3945777View attachment 3945778View attachment 3945779

Hmm... never dealt with anything like that before! I would maybe vacuum it to start, just to pick up any loose debris. And I would try baby wipes (alcohol free) since they are gentle, to wipe the inside. That type of material might peel or discolor if you use anything to harsh. Probably want to avoid alcohol and acetone.

Thank you so much, I’ll give it a try and see what happens. Thanks again [emoji5]

Saw this bag on shopgoodwill. Has anyone rehabbed the linen/leather bags? Will it clean up nicely, or will it be the devil, like nubuc?

@katev posted about her rehab of what looks like the same bag, here:

Thanks! Hers turned out great! I think I'll bid and see how it goes

Here is the post about the rehab including the before and after pics, that bag was in bad shape and I put it through a lot - but I got lucky and it came out great! It's a nice bag for summer.

You guys!!!!! Look what I scored at the Nashville Flea Market today for $14! It’s in 7/10 condition but nothing that can’t be easily remedied.

Congrats! I used to love this bag back in the day. I actually still own my original bag and need to pull it out and rehab it. Enjoy!
