British Tan Station Bag, Made in the United States listed on Mercari for $25 plus shipping; appears to be in pretty good shape but there might be some verdigris abound the hardware.

Tempted, but I am on a self-imposed ban as I bought 6 bags in a week.
Also me later this week: "I am going right by goodwill, it won't hurt to pop in"

@Lake Effect - just saw a navy Bleeker on shopgoodwill  Auction ends tomorrow.

Thanks for thinking of me! I will pass though. I like a bag with a flap on top, or a zipper that extends down further on the sides. Sadly I see that opening and think of scraped knuckles. However I am happy to report I have several Bleekers in the Basket or Market style, I forget the official name, #9302
Also after buying at least 20 Coach bags in the last 18 months, several of which need a full rehab or some kind of attention, (I am in the process of organizing my bedroom which is including a purge!) I would like to shop out of my closet for the time being. I am shifting to a shorter wallet which is making it easier to change bags. Not gonna lie though, if I came across a HG bag at a bargain price, I would buy it.

I know these aren’t coach bags, but I would really like to rehab theses vintage MCM bags. If this post is wanted here, I truly understand. I didn’t see any other area to ask these questions. If this is acceptable and you would like to help, I’d very much appreciate it. There is one area of concern and I’m wondering if anyone may have any suggestions for me. It’s the trim in the first photo. I decided to buy them and take a chance. I haven’t done anything to them yet. I’m a bit apprehensive, I don’t want to mess them up. The purse is pretty dirty on the inside as well. Thanks so much in advance for any help you can give me. IMG_3258.jpgIMG_3263.jpgIMG_3267.jpgIMG_3275.jpgIMG_3319.jpg

MCM are coated canvas bags, with the trim being leather. If you are adept with a needle you might be able to replace some of that trim. I’ve never rehabbed coated canvas, only cleaned up some LV coated canvas with baby wipes. You could probably use regular leather conditioner on the leather trim, though.

Can anyone tell me the name of this briefcase style and perhaps a guesstimate of how old it is? I've rehabbed it but I can't figure out what the official style name is. Thanks! KayView attachment 3944756 View attachment 3944757View attachment 3944758View attachment 3944759

You might want to ask about it on the Authentication thread:

If the bag is authentic, someone there can probably ID it for you too.

Thank you so much for your insight. Would you mind giving me a suggestion for cleaning the inside? I really appreciate your help, thanks so much again [emoji4]

No problem, sorry I can’t offer more help with the canvas. Can we see a pic of the inside, is it fabric lined? I only have one MCM bag but it’s new and it has this faux leather lining that’s wipeable.

So, I got a "deal" on a Nomad, (black) with some "scratches." What would you professional rehabbers use to best work with these Nomad temperamental leathers? I searched the thread, but for some reason couldn't find anything, although I know I have read stuff about it.
Thank you in advance!
