So I'm finally doing it. I have a Willis bag I bought off eBay (authenticated by TPS) in great shape, but in need of sprucing up. It's an "easy" rehab. No stains or worn leather, but I've never done this before, so it's challenging to me, despite having read up on everyone else's tips! The bag is soaking right now. I'm excited!

Welcome to rehabbing! Please feel free to post pics, questions, etc. any time.

Welcome to rehabbing! Careful, it's addicting! :) can't wait to see the results!

I haven't done a Coach in a few weeks, but I am expecting a navy Rambler in the mail today :) I am working on another brand bag that I think I need to glue the seam. It appears that seam was originally glued on the inside. Is there a particular glue I should be using? Thanks!!!

Found these babies at Goodwill today. Gave them a bath already and they're all looking good. I was surprised to find the Casino bag is the same size as these little wristlets (which are very useful for me to carry all my allergy supplies in all the time). The straps are damaged on 2 of them with the chunky plastic edging peeling off where the strap bends. I don't know if I'll bother fixing that or not:

Not sure why that picture is upside down! Try this one:

And your Goodwill keeps on giving! Enjoy.
Actually an independent thrift shop by me does have a regular supply of non-vintage wristlets and small bags and a few larger ones. None of them have tempted me to pull the trigger, though I have carried them around the store, and contemplated posting here while shopping to see if anyone was available to authenticate.
Oh and they had a horrible fake Taft. I have seen comments about fake Taft’s abounding but this was my first in real life. Yuck. I have seen other bad fakes, but this was Hall of Shame worthy.
I didn’t take pics because there was nothing notable, but during the busyness of the New Year, I rehabbed/conditioned a little black Belt Bag for a friend she picked up second-hand and she was thrilled with the result. I offered her lifetime conditioning for the the duration of our friendship:biggrin:

My Goodwill boutique store always has a ton of modern wristlets and wallets. They are always a little more than I want to spend though (like $15-$20). These ones were at my regular Goodwill store which always has them $5-$7, but I don't often see them in this size which is the perfect size for my crap. Usually they are the smaller ones which I don't find useful. I do wish they were leather but they are all nice anyway, I'll use them. I have to carry epipens with me all the time and an asthma inhaler, and the usual girly stuff like lip gloss and hand cream.

I have never seen a fake Taft. I will have to keep an eye out for that one! In fact this is the first time I've ever come across a Casino bag and I was blown away by how small it was. I have seen them on ebay but never really understood just how mini it is until seeing it irl.

This Taft was so awful, pleather-y I could tell from 3-4 feet away , it was on a rack.
I saw a black Casino at a thrift shop last fall. It is tiny. And I lean toward a big bag. They wanted $10 for it but it had no strap or hangtag. I passed. I would have picked it up, possibly to gift.
I have a few Vera Bradley’s I use for charging cords, flashdrive, lip balm, floss, rescue inhaler, etc. Which reminds me, the VB’s could stand a washing.
