On the Coach website there is a form for repair requests. Request a new tag and give them the bag's registration number, color and hardware type (brass or nickel). They will respond and let you know that they received your order. A few weeks ago they sent me one to match my "new" backpack too. And it's free!
I love this hangtag! It looks like the Sheridan hangtags. I would love one for my black Sheridan. However my Sheridan doesn't have a number. I wonder if I should make one up.

Tell them a different style number of a bag that's the same color as yours. I have a black Roswell and pretty sure the hang tags were the same for that and yours.

That was the first time I contacted them and the form has a place for your message, so I just asked them if it was possible to get a new tag. They emailed me right back and told me what information they would need. I'm sure if you describe the bag and told them it didn't have a number, they would still give you one...seem very friendly and helpful.

That is an especially nice tag you got. I think it's nicer than the original it came with.

Ugh!!!!! I found a beat up Sonoma bucket zip today at savers...... and in my excitement to have found one for short money I hurried home and cut the tag off and dunked her only to realize as she is soaking wet and I am scrubbing her down that The Zipper is pulling away on both sides!
I have to stop myself and do better inspections before I remove tags and dunk them! At least it wasn't an expensive lesson.
Oh well I have a Hang Tag and a zipper pull for a Sonoma out of it.

Thank you whateve. I think if it's cheap enough, I will go for it and see what happens. The description says it's a "moisture" stain...so could be anything. I wonder if something spilled inside the bag or it was put down in a wet spot? And looking at some more photos for comparison, I believe you are right about it being a Madison! I just love the shape...
I would be really tempted to buy a BT bag with that type of stain too. I like to ask myself if I could justify the cost if the stain didn’t come out as I would like. Because I was able to remove some water marks from one light color bag, it is very tempting. And I have other bags where the stains didn’t budge.

Wow, I have a bunch of bags without hang tags, and in the past when I emailed Coach they only sent me those metal brass or nickel ones. One of my tagless bags is a Sheridan, maybe I'll be lucky to get the proper one for it.
