Yay! Those bags are looking great ladies! I got my first coat of leather CPR on those damp bags from yesterday. I washed an extra one and forgot it outside. It's a nice sunny day. I hope it doesn't get too dry. I'm out all day and can't get to it till this evening.

Hello ladies!
Hoping you have an idea of what this could be and what to do about it. (Rehab bag I got, not original owner)

There was a small stain on the pocket of this liner (dark green stripe), so I decided to use a bit of Coach Fabric Cleaner but didn't help. So I used the LA Awesome cleaner on it and when wet all over, these dots started to appear, like they were inside between the two layers of fabric, none were visible before I got it wet so I thought once dry again they would go away, but have not, they are more noticeable than the picture shows :confused1:

Please help, thanks in advance.

Any guesses..... ?????

We are so excited! We've done research and we're planning on bathing, conditioning, fixing the scratches, and applying some edge paint. I think we'll also try magic eraser to lighten the handles. If anyone has any extra thoughts they'd like to share we'd be happy to hear :)

Use vinegar with that magic eraser. I don't know that I would use edge paint. Coach didn't on these older styles.

The only thing that might help is wiping with vinegar.

The trim looks like a darker color, maybe burnt cedar. Not all AWL trim is British Tan.

I don't know what would lighten it. There was a trim color called Burnt Cedar (released circa 1995), which I'm thinking could be what you have. Example here:
http://www.horsekeeping.com/Dooney/SAT/863-B710-vintage-mini-choccedar.htm

Now that it’s been washed and dried, I inspected it closer. I don’t think it’s supposed to be that dark, a la burnt cedar. It looks almost like someone has used a house stain to darken some parts. You can see what looks like brush strokes on the darker parts and the other side pieces of trim are lighter.

I think I’ll try vinegar first and then acetone.

Any ideas now that there are better photos?
