It's still a bit too soon to describe the blue my Paris bag will be...I start conditioning with Leather CPR yesterday while she was still a little damp, so she's darker than I know she'll end up. Bluer than navy for sure.
And speaking of two-tone...yesterday I started working on my daypack...you authenticated it here:
http://forum.purseblog.com/coach-shopping/authenticate-this-coach-818914-123.html#post24892105. She turned completely black in the bath (lots of black in the water), yet is drying two-tone again. Don't know what's up with this! The surface of the leather isn't worn off, just a color difference. We'll see what happens with Leather CPR and Blackrocks. If she stays two-tone it's fine with me...pretty cool actually
Amazing, huh? I'm thinking someone's Granny left a wonderful collection of well-cared-for bags to someone who didn't know what they were...too many good old bags too close together to be random donations. I had never seen one before, but trusted my instincts, especially the older Leatherware creed, and couldn't be happier. I'd love to see yours! She's a lot bigger than bags I usually carry, but I'll definitely be wearing this one, just as soon as she's finished.
