Oh I forgot to add that as it dried I brushed it with the suede coach brush. A lot of times with suede a wash cloth is enough but this needed a bit more, I think it really helped. Also the suede came out very soft, not sure if it was because of the fabric softener or not, but I don't have that, I wish I could condition it feeling. Any variation you see in the color is just the nap of the suede. It truly is clean. I will eventually but some black rocks on the smooth leather trim but I knew if I didn't take pix now I never would.
Fantastic job! It looks brand new. Well done.

Is there a way to clean the sateen fabric on the Maggie's. I got one the other day and she is dirty

I was wondering the same thing!
If it is super dirty, you can put in the sink and wash with any mild soap and water. I usually use my dishwashing liquid. Rinse well, pat dry and then lay it out on towels to dry. Try to avoid getting the creed patch soaked because it will swell up.

After NurseAnn posted pictures not too long ago of her rehabbed Willis, I went looking for one. whateve kindly helped with authentication. It was in pretty good shape when I started, so it was a pretty quick rehab. I gave her a bath, followed by two coats of Lexol, two coats of Skidmore's then two coats of Blackrocks to finish. I polished the brass and gave her a scarf to dress her up. Can't wait to carry her today. Here is a before and after.

Beautiful job...Love the scarf!

Ok finally got pictures taken, in full sun. This is after bath, stuffing, one application of Leather CPR, and two apps of Lexol. It's super soft and shiny right now because I did the second coat of Lexol this morning!

Anyway, in the full sunlight, I am back to thinking burgundy, but I want to know if you all agree!

Presenting, vintage Coach Convertible Clutch!

Gorgeous burgundy...haven't seen this color IRL, but I'll be looking. Great rehab!

I have had pretty good luck spot-cleaning sateen fabric, it looks so delicate but it really tougher than it appears. Can you post pictures?

I have used mild soap like ivory dish soap and a damp cloth to clean spots and I have also found that wiping it down with baby wipes does a nice job of brightening up the sateenfabric.

I have also used Coach Jacquard fabric cleaner to successfully remove stubborn spots.

If it is really dirty and/or the spot-treatment isn't working, then I agree with Whateve that I would try a sink bath next. I often use Ivory but Dawn might work better on deep dirt. Good luck!

Here are some photos. It looks like something was splashed on it. They might be water marks to. But the stuff on the bottom looks like a form of grease or something

Spray n Wash or Shout for those spots that won't come out. I have used it on bags with no problems....I have also used stronger stuff without any problems either, but that was for bags that were almost a loss without the cleaning. Just be sure to wash the residue out so your bag won't continue to smell like Spray n Wash.

If it were me, I'd just dunk and handwash that bag. Too much dirt / stains and ewww for me to do otherwise.

I've not had any problems with the leather creed patches swelling up before, but listen to whatev said....she's more experienced than I am.

It looks like you can just dunk the bottom part where the dirt is. Pull the lining out so it doesn't soak through. I've never had a problem with water stains from only washing part of a bag. If the stains don't come out, try Soilove. I've used it on a glam and it works great.
