Yeah, I was in the 99 cent store buying it, thinking I could buy a bunch for everyone else but then I figured the shipping cost would raise it to Amazon's price anyway. It didn't work on any of my bags but it worked great on the lounge chair pad I have on my porch that my kitty had gotten super dirty.

We have the 99 cent stores, where everything is actually 99.9999 cents, Dollar Tree, Discount Dollar store and Family Dollar. These kinds of stores have really taken off around here. Sadly, my Tuesday Morning closed so I don't have anywhere to buy Leather CPR cheap.

I want to try Tuff Stuff but my Walmart doesn't have it.

I live in an economically depressed area so dollar stores are HUGE here. I never thought to look for leather care products there but I've always just used Leather Honey so I bought from Amazon. Now that I'm getting into Coach Rescue I will have to check and see what they have.

Does anyone use Wright's Brass Polish? I just happened to have a bottle in my cleaning cupboard so I am using it now. I don't think I'll ever get a clean wipe on my rag on the brass loops where the strap hooks into! I know many of you use Brasso. I've easily put at least 2 hours into the brass cleaning. Is this crazy?

Brass cleaning takes forever. I prefer wenol but other products work well too.

Last week I bought a Sheridan bag off of e bay and it is here! The ladies who posted in the top 5 vintage bags thread were right. This leather feels indestructible! I don't have to do much work with it but it did arrive very squished. Any advice on how to reshape? Is a bath my only option? ImageUploadedByPurseForum1372302420.433209.jpg

So this week I gave my two rehabbed Court bags to my sweet nieces who were visiting from Virginia. The nearly-16-yo got the mahogany one, the 18-yo got the black one. They can't afford anything close to a new Coach bag, so I was pleased to give them mine. I love the Court bag style, but it's too small for my needs.

But I'll soon have another rehab project, just won this plum purple NYC made convertible clutch: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Coach-Purse...der-strap-boho-hipster-designer-/321146706839

I'm excited to get a bag to dunk and condition, and I've always admired this style. My first made in New York bag!

The color is probably burgundy. I have a basic bag in the same color. Congratulations! I'm looking forward to seeing your results.

I've never been able to reshape a bag without a bath. I just washed a tan Sheridan bag and it came out fine. Yours doesn't look that squished. You might be able to stuff it and then expose it to some heat to see if that reshapes it.

Gorgeous, great job. What did you use to make her shine so? Just starting so sorry for the basic question.
Thank you! I used a bunch of products on her! Not all bags need this much treatment, but the leather was very dry. First I touched up her edges with Lexol conditioner mixed with a tiny bit of brown acrylic paint. Then I gave her two coats of Leather CPR, a day apart. Then two coats of Skidmore's Leather Cream, each a day apart. I feel the Skidmore's helps soften the leather. Lastly, two coats of Blackrocks over two days.

Really nice! That's a bag that will last forever.

I hope you can help me. I'm not sure if you can tell by the picture, but it looks like the color rubbed off the leather? It looks minimal in the picture, but it's pretty significant if you see it IRL. It's a new bag and I think I've only worn it maybe twice now. I treated it beforehand with Apple conditioner and Stain Guard. When I first saw it, I thought it was maybe deodorant residue or a stain, so I applied Apple conditioner on it again to see if that would do the trick. Nope. For wearing a bag only twice, I have no idea how this could have happened. It's towards the back of the bag, not even the front. Any advice how to correct?

Thanks so much!

It's the same for me, I have only ever been sucessful reshaping a bag by dunking it first. I once gave a bath to a green and tan Sheridan Glenwood and it came out great.

If that happened after just a couple of wearings you should take it back to coach. They will probably offer a replacement or full refund or at the least - a 40% discount on the boutique item of your choice. Sorry this happened to you.
