Just beautiful!
Thanks! This was inside - really yucky...
I saw that this morning...it is just so cool. Unfortunately a bit out of my price range now. There was a chocolate brown one up on Etsy as well. First time I have ever seen that style and I love it.Hey rehabbers! Check this one out! http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=171007399936&ssPageName=ADME:B:SS:US:1123
Excellent job---the leather just glows now! Here's the Janice's Legacy I found at Goodwill last week. I think it came out pretty well, considering. It was filthy and dry, and had an ink stain that I only knew about because the blue leeched out on a towel. If this bag were light I don't think it would look very good. Plus it had some dried stuff inside that looked a bit like vomit. What a loser this bag was! However, a long bubble bath and 2 coats of Lexol and 2 of Backrocks did a great job:

Ladies, I know this has nothing to do with Coach bags, but have any of you ever heard of S. T. Dupont? I founda briefcase by this company today at a thrift store. I have researched and researched and not come up with a lot....it is a high end leather good and other luxury items company based in France...They have two US companies, in NJ and NY so I can try calling them on Monday, I suppose..the briefcase seems to be really high end...and perfect inside...I think I read calf leather...some wear on the outside...not bad...wear on corners and a broken latch for the strap....some Ebays sellers were asking $1200.00 for one similar to mine...if mine is authentic....here is a few pics and if anyone has any idea where I can find out any more info, it would be appreciated...
it is like this one, but maybe a bit older: http://www.st-dupont.com/en/catalogue/leather-goods/tourniquet-briefcase-contraste

also, the handle works fine but it has a detachable strap and one end of it appears to be broken - it doesn't stay latched.....
Thanks! Some of those prices - wow! It was originally 15 dollars but they marked it downto 8.00 because of the broken latch. It looks like they are still in business, nice find!

The leather looks yummy and the inside is divine. Since the company is still in business, I would contact them and see if they can recommend someone in your area to repair it, or can you send it to them for repair?Ladies, I know this has nothing to do with Coach bags, but have any of you ever heard of S.
