Do any of y'all who own a suede bag use a suede brush on it? Or is that not necessary??
I use a suede brush. You can get them at Target, Walmart, Kmart, etc. Look by the shoe laces a d shoe polish.
Jessica- beautiful job and encourages me to wash my two suede purses....you out towels in the wash but did you pu the bag in a pillowcase or just in the machine?definitely air dry! Not sure if dryer would hurt, but wouldn't take a chance when good old air is proven gentle ! I worry about drying out the leather otherwise. Not to mention banging the hardwear around. ( I suppose inside a pillow case might have been possible). I air dryed her, but I have her sitting outside for further airing since there's a faint smokiness to her...ugg
Speaking of suede brushes, I really don't like the coach brushes I think they're too harsh.
I keep going back and forth about buying a brush or using the washcloth like the the Coach SA recommended. I love suede and just bought my first suede bag!!

ok, thanks!I have just washed mine with towels except for a zoe that had a lot of hardware I was worried about scratching
The coach brush has metal wires. I used it on my suede zoe and I really shouldn't have. I know I had a softer suede brush years ago but for the most part I think a washcloth is enough.

j\ust double checking ladies - I have a few bags that I bought on Ebay that are in great shape - no dirt, scratches and have kept their shape nicely. A few look like they were never used - lucky me! Should I use some Apple Leather care to just clean/protect them? I also have Blackrocks and Leather CPR, but my understanding is that is for more heavy duty cleaning/protection. Thanks for any advice/info!
