Thanks so much for all your suggestions Katev. I'll have to track down some black rocks. There are livestock stores here and I know real good leather shop that makes tack and other leather goods. They may have what I need, I hope.
I wonder if its possible to reshape her by soaking in mild soapy water? Or do you not recommend that?

The only way I know how to reshape a bag is to give it a bath and then stuff it with towels and let it dry. Take the towels out after a day and pull the lining out to let it continue drying.

I have successfully washed some unlined red bags but the red color might bleed and you could end up with a pink/red tinge or stains on the lining!

But if she needs reshaping, it might be worth the risk!

I don't think I'll risk it. She sags in at the sides below the turn locks. My large Optic signature Carly doesn't do this. I don't want to end up with pink lining.
I already cleaned the lining. Got the ink marks out except the blotches in the pocket. At least they're diminished as you said they would!
Love the rubbing alcohol trick!
Thanks so much!!

My "New to me" Carly arrived today. Her she is in Chili Red.

I'm try to upload pics of her for you wonderful ladies to help with an suggestions for giving her a make over.
She has some blemishes.

Awesome bag...I just won a Chili Carly yesterday...so HAPPY to finally get one in that color. I think KateVs suggestions are all great, and hope she turns out like you hope! Either way, beautiful bag! enjoy

I recently bought a Legacy zip from Etsy. It is authenticated that it is made in 1996.Thank you so much, Hyacinth!

It was the bag I always wanted to own and I wanted the one made in US.
I am very happy with this purchase and I read this thread and tried rehab for the first time.

It was already in a great condition, but I tried bath and coath leather moisturizer, and Brasso.

I totally forgot to take "before" picture but here are "After" pictures.
Thank you everyone for all the informations here!!

I just love this bag and it almost feel like this is brand new!!
At least, it doesn't look & feel like 17 year old bag.

What do you think, rehab experts?

I am looking at this listing on eBay and I just love this green Court bag but is there any hope to take out all those imprints? Is it possible?
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Coa...323?pt=US_CSA_WH_Handbags&hash=item1e76a67903

I would stay away from this one. I think it is overpriced for that much damage. The color is really uneven too. There is something wrong here - Coach wouldn't have dyed a bag that unevenly.

I forgot to mention, I don't think you could fix those dents.
