Has/Does anyone here use the "ArmorAll" brand Leather wipes?? I know some of you use Lexol wipes but the store I went to had the ArmorAll brand and I was curious to see how they worked.
I said Katev does, but that was not true, I thought I saw someone who had, but I cannot find the post... could be my alzheimer's setting in early or something! If you try it, let us know, lol!!
And...
I have a Tribeca tote in Navy blue, and it was my worst rehab so far. I thought it was the Navy color, but after seeing the red one, I think it might just be that type of leather... I just got a nice bottle of Feibing's Leather Stain from E-Bay, so maybe I will pull that bag out again...
And my Tribeca (9098) a little different from the red one, outside dimensions 9" tall by 12" across, is too small to fit my iPad comfortably, and I don't have a case for my iPad yet. The iPad without the case will fit into the bag, but if I put it in standing up it is too tall and sticks up above the zipper a bit, and sideways it has to hit the zipper on one side or the other to fit into the bag.
And also...
I finally found the original post asking about Coach repairs, and saw why the grommet repair I am having done was mentioned, so here is my new response:
Coach can do repairs on some things and not others, it just depends on what it is. If Coach says they cannot do it, they usually give you the option of a coupon or a store credit for the value of the item, I have had both things happen, just depends on when the item was purchased. I had an outlet bag a couple of years ago where the piping had worn through, and they gave me store credit for the full amount I paid for the bag, two years later. I had a wallet last year that was also from an outlet, and they did the same thing, gave me a store credit for the value of the item. In both cases they kept the items.
I haven't had any bags that I have taken in to them for repairs since I started rehabbing except the Stewardess, and that was simply because I felt they were the best ones to do the job.
If you took it in and a sales associate told you they couldn't help you, and did not offer any kind of coupon or anything, it could be that you got a sales associate that isn't knowledgeable about the repair side of the business. I would try a different store if you have one anywhere near you, or I would call the corporate number, they are usually very helpful there.
Welcome to rehabbing, it is so much fun and so rewarding!
