Amgel, how many bags do you have to rehab? Are you sure you're not a Coach store? You have all this great bags, I am !

I have been on a bit of a buying spree with them, so right now I have a lot. I will try to take a group pic, tomorrow, while my husband is away, lol!!
I got three more today, and I am still expecting one more... I just keep finding good deals on them, and I figure it is a good time to buy when the prices are good.

I am still working on my first bag! I just did 2nd conditioning treatment, one more tomorrow and then the Obenauf's. I think she will look as good as new! You're right in buying when you see them, you gotta grab them at a good price!:smile1:

Well, I started out buying almost anything I could find under $20, and since I filled up my storage space, I have now increased that amount to $50, and now I am running out of bags that truly interest me. I really do want a black kisslock tote, but that is about all I have left that I want.
My sister found a NYC briefcase like mine at the Goodwill store today, she has officially caught the bug too now, lol!
I just decided that I wanted a nice wardrobe of pretty purses, and I think Coach is a good brand, not so expensive that I would be afraid to carry it, but nice enough that I can pretty much pick out one for any outfit or any occasion. And, with the huge price disparities between what I can get on their website, and what I can find on sites like E-Bay and Etsy, it just makes sense. I love fashion, but I hate being a victim of it. I prefer to set my own idea of what I consider nice, and what I want to wear and represent with my clothing, and these bags are just amazing. My husband loves it when I coordinate and dress nice, and in his line of work, we will have many more official gatherings that I will be required to attend in the future. He is just starting out, post-military, at a huge contracting firm, and he is one of the best in his line of work, so that is going to eventually mean official events and dinners, and well, I like to be prepared way ahead of time!! All these bags that I have the time to buy and fix now will carry me through many times when I don't have the same luxury. And, if I end up buying and then selling them off one day, I feel like I can at least get out of them what I paid...

I love how it came out Katev, and it looks good with a chain!

I have a missing strap dilemna too, and I'm going to use it as an excuse to post this cute, not coach bag in here. Don't tell. I found it at a thrift store years ago, and I need to find the perfect chain about it. I've done a little research on the brand, and a lot of them came with serpentine chains, but this has such pretty rhinestone detail that I wonder if it didn't have something a little more special maybe.

I have to keep my eyes out for the right bag to steal the chain from!

Chain belts make good straps. I made one of my clutches into a crossbody with a chain belt I bought at Kolhs.

I figure, in my entire collection so far, not including a Zoe that was a gift from a friend, and my peach colored Audrey, and my Kristin, that were gifts from my husband, that the rest of them all cost me under what I would have paid for one Louis Vuitton. And, in the process, I learned to clean them, care for them, shop for them, I learned a lot about buying on E-Bay, and I learned a few things about selling on E-Bay as well. Not to mention, it has kept me busy for a few months. Since I was alone for part of that time, and my son is separated from me for the first time ever, anything that kept me busy and kept my mind off of it was more than welcome. And, I paid for all of them myself, including the briefcase that my husband now loves. It has been a great experience, and I am not totally done yet, but I am pretty happy with my collection.

I've been reading Docride's thread on Hermes rehab. So inspiring! She says to use the Fiebings Acrylic Resolene on canvas coated bags for extra protection. Like LV's, Dooney's and such. It is incredible! She also uses something called Angelus Acrylic Leather Paint for touchups.

Ok, so I have a question...
Where are these sellers getting these little keychains? Here are some examples:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/VINTAGE-COA...s=63&clkid=8262566772657470064#ht_7776wt_1215

http://www.ebay.com/itm/COACH-LEATH...H_Handbags&hash=item41649f0d1b#ht_6904wt_1294

And there is another seller that I can't find right now, thath as a bunch of them on all the bags she has listed... they are cute, but I don't think they are all Coach, and I am wondering what they are and where they are coming from!

They aren't Coach, she states that in the description. No idea where she gets them.

Where is this thread? I have heard so much about it, but I am so useless when it comes to finding things on this site... I have this thread bookmarked so I can find it again, lol!
