I am still working on my first bag! I just did 2nd conditioning treatment, one more tomorrow and then the Obenauf's. I think she will look as good as new! You're right in buying when you see them, you gotta grab them at a good price!
Well, I started out buying almost anything I could find under $20, and since I filled up my storage space, I have now increased that amount to $50, and now I am running out of bags that truly interest me. I really do want a black kisslock tote, but that is about all I have left that I want.
My sister found a NYC briefcase like mine at the Goodwill store today, she has officially caught the bug too now, lol!
I just decided that I wanted a nice wardrobe of pretty purses, and I think
Coach is a good brand, not so expensive that I would be afraid to carry it, but nice enough that I can pretty much pick out one for any outfit or any occasion. And, with the huge price disparities between what I can get on their website, and what I can find on sites like E-Bay and Etsy, it just makes sense. I love fashion, but I hate being a victim of it. I prefer to set my own idea of what I consider nice, and what I want to wear and represent with my clothing, and these bags are just amazing. My husband loves it when I coordinate and dress nice, and in his line of work, we will have many more official gatherings that I will be required to attend in the future. He is just starting out, post-military, at a huge contracting firm, and he is one of the best in his line of work, so that is going to eventually mean official events and dinners, and well, I like to be prepared way ahead of time!! All these bags that I have the time to buy and fix now will carry me through many times when I don't have the same luxury. And, if I end up buying and then selling them off one day, I feel like I can at least get out of them what I paid...
