So tell me which Apple leather conditioner you used? I'm going to try alcohol-free baby wipes on my Vachetta leather. They were also recommended to me by my shoe repair guy. He said that they would just clean it, but that I would still have to condition it.....The denim is perfect, so I'm not touching that.....My leather just needs a little moisture he told me. The diaper wipes would not darken it he also said....Anyone have experience at that?

Not positive, but I don't think non alcohol diaper wipes are the best option for vachetta. I would read those threads first. I use Apple on my vachetta with good results.

katev I have the same bag and I too love it! The pink suede trim was soiled on mine also. I used an emery board and very lightly "roughed up " the suede removing some of the soiled material as I went .It really worked but use a light hand as it also removes some of the nap!!

I've had no experience with baby wipes or vanchetta leather, so I'm no help there. I just used the regular Apple Care conditioner and it works great. I also just did a coat of Pecards Leather Dressing on the drawstring bag that still felt a little dry, it worked nicely. I'm not so sure it would be recommended for vanchetta leather, though.

How do you clean white suede? I found a wicker(I'm not sure if it is) with white suede, but it is super dirty. I got it for 1$ at a garage sale and I don't know how to clean it. Or if it can be salvaged.

Could you post some pics? There have been some threads on suede cleaning that suggest using
commercial spray cleaning suede
an eraser
an emery board (or fine sandpaper)

But, I got myself some Apple conditioner and I rehabbed my Cole Haan. I have had this bag for over 10 years, and it just keeps on ticking. I just did it with the Apple and it came through BEAUTIFULLY! It's the bag that I always go back to. I believe that is referred to as my Holy Grail bag....

I'm gonig to sell the Vachetta Coach, as it's just too heavy for me. But I'm now carrying my old faithful....Isn't it gorgeous? For 12 years old? And that leather feels as nice as it looks. The best bag I have ever owned. People stop me all the time to ask about it.

This is my latest project. I haven't received it yet but I have Lexol cleaning wipes and Lexol conditioner and will probably give it a bath. I know rehabbing light colored bags is not recommended but I couldn't resist that lovely color.

Ooooh, pretty! It's hard to tell in the picture, is it lavender? I like how it has the little matching coin purse!
