For the stores have closed, has Coach updated the website and removed them?

I'm not sure about that but I did receive an email from Coach telling me that since my local store has closed, I'm invited to shop at their ****** location.

I had to laugh,,, that location is over 500 miles away.

I've gotten those messages from Bloomingdales and Nordstrom, calling a location that is a 5 hour drive away my "local" store.

I haven't received any messages from Coach about store closings so maybe "mine" are safe for now.

There are two FP stores in the Forum Shoppes in Las Vegas - I wonder if they are going to close one of those. Once I was in one of the them and someone ran down to the other one to get something for me. They probably both do well with all the tourists.

I haven't been buying a lot of Coach lately and I hate the mall anyway. Did the Wolfchase store close? There was hardly anybody in there buying the few times that I did stop there. Saddle Creek always seems to have customers but I couldn't tell if they were buying or browsing the last time I was there. I can tell you I was browsing, though.

Yes it was Wolfchase. Saddlecreek is near my job so that isnt a problem. I just hate that they had to close that store.

lol i think that's why prices jacked up so high. Last year I was able to get a decent sized bag for under $100 made in Canada. This year same style nearly $200. Besides which I think Roots will keep to the made in Canada stint even with a shop in china. BIG WIGS over there will pay though the nose for something foreign made. They'll pay more for a roots bag made in canada than a coach bag made in china. Come to think of it the exact same style offered by roots made in Canada is now twice even triple the price from last year. So I think it's actually in their best interest to make it in Canada since they can make more money from the same product vs if it was made in china instead.

I have noticed prices have risen on some items, but i think they are detailing more which is a good sign makes them more competitive.

I have no doubt China will pay for something not made there lol Looks like a fantastic store!

There really are too many fp stores as well as outlets. Just alone in the city I live in there are 4 with in 30 miles of each other, not including the one that was closed Jan 2014, which would have made it 5. Thats FARRRRR too many stores for one area, unless your's in someplace like NYC.

It's like that here, too. They are everywhere! I can think of two malls about 20 min from my house and they have Coach in at least 2 dept stores, plus a Coach FP store. That's at least 6 within 20 min of me. It's too much!

I could NEVER find that second Coach store in the Forum Shoppes....Of course it didn't help that I was being rushed by my husband/other friends with us, who have absolutely no interest in Coach. The one store I DID go into I think was on the top floor near the 'twirly' escalator.

The one I mostly go to is very close to the casino entrance. DH plays poker at Bellagio and I walk over to Caesars from there and go through the hotel to get there. The entrance from Las Vegas Boulevard I think is closer to the other one. It has shoes. It is a long way from one to the other.

I'm betting we have passed one another walking thru these hotels en route to the Coach stores. Aren't they fun? I suspect both will survive any closings.

I've been in both of them. One is a flagship store.

Hi,

it's my first post here but I've been lurking around for a while. Just this past week, I noticed the outlet store in Dolphin Mall, FL has been closed and the FP in Dadeland too. A check with COACH's website said that the FP in Dadeland is undergoing renovations and will reopen in May. Perhaps that's what's happening with many other FP stores?

I'm quite puzzled over the closure of the outlet though. That mall is a tourist hotspot, and that outlet has always had sales. Can someone confirm that it is indeed gone for good?

In my area some of the fp stores are being renovated as "boutique" stores. Apparently that's an upgrade in between a full price store & a flagship store. So looks like your.local fp store is becoming a boutique.

Yep, Dolphin is done, my SA told me on Saturday...not sure about Dadeland though.

I don't know if it's going to help with sales. It's right opposite Michael Kors and you hardly ever see anyone in the COACH store. MK gets all the crowd.
