Yup re: LV... it's so common I see tons of 20-somethings carry the canvas brown ones! Used to be more of an older brand but really surprised to see even teenagers carry LV around in the mall. Though I am suspicious if there could be fakes amongst those.

I'm quite puzzled over the closure of the outlet though. That mall is a tourist hotspot, and that outlet has always had sales. Can someone confirm that it is indeed gone for good?

I'm so bummed! I'm here for work and have been looking forward to visiting the Dolphin mall mainly for the Coach outlet. When I booked my trip, it was on the website. I got here and it's a toy store. I wish I'd noticed this post before. I'm on the shuttle back to my hotel now and I'm pouty.

Maybe the lucky teens have moms who did a closet clean out. I gave my girls any bag they wanted before I sold the rest on the bay.

me neither. the more exclusive it is, the more I think is that bag real? It's probably a fake. Coach on the other hand doesn't make me think that. lol Coach hates fakes yet they are going to make changes that actually encourage it? People want to carry the logo but can't afford it so they buy a fake and feed the fakes industry. With the outlets, and pces, it still happens but at a much reduced footprint. Instead of focusing on exclusivity, they should focus on quality. Create a few lines with custom designs, custom colors. etc. Create a brand new tier but keep the lower tiers in place.

Oh i bet there are loads of fake LV, I have been surprised how many I have seen in just common going out(ie, like lowes lol) No clue on whether they are real, you need to be more versed than I on the brand.

Everyone is 'inspired' by everyone these days though so companies are having a much harder time doing something that breaks out of the typical..

I just stick with what I like, but definitely prefer authentic goods.

Interestingly, those I have seen carrying them are older.. last one i saw in Lowes of all places she had to have been over 50, nicely dressed nothing over the top... hard to say i would lean towards real but these days with these triple A fakes, who knows?

Most of the teens here carry COach, MK and large tote styles... My younger daughter has Coach but she is NOT a purse girl, you own a purse use it till it wears out and you need another, says her. :wtf:

My oldest OTOH keeps adopting my purses? yet i don't recall ever putting them out for adoption? :huh:
