I hear that a lot about the pockets.. of coarse i can relate to that, i love and must have pockets...

LOL on tortured kittens.. TBH we walked in and out my oldest daughter was like.. um, I've seen this all before by others oops.. :pokey:

I don't really have any concrete opinions on the brand, i see it loads.. i own none so really have no way to base any feedback... i do know the brand seems to generate massive opinions either for or against.
Oh, and I forgot the other thing that is wonderful about my MK bags. The straps are so cleverly designed. On my suede bag, there are two handles that fit on my shoulder but if I prefer to use the removable shoulder strap, the handles fold neatly inside the purse. I like that the ring that attaches the strap opens so it looks integrated into the design and doesn't look like it is removable. On the purse I don't have anymore, the handles had a chain that went through holes in the bag and could be carried double or you could drop one to have a longer strap, like Chanel. (Yeah, I know that MK copies!)

I don't like any of the most popular MK bags because they are satchels and I'm a shoulder bag girl.

That sounds really clever. Clearly some good ideas do exist within his bags, i mostly see the ones that you CANNOT miss are his.. logo'd out.. i am not anti-logo to a point but prefer plainer ones usually.

The first thing I did when I got my MK bags was remove the MK charm! I truly hate the MK logo. I think that sometimes the way Coach does the Cs is pretty or clever, but the standard MK logo bag looks like there is no imagination involved. It looks like MK just wanted to get in on the action that Coach was getting. To be fair, I hate Gucci logo too even though that one is really a design.

I didn't know that. I've seen "some" of your bags ;) and you seem to have your share of satchels. lol I don't own a MK bag although I've looked at them occasionally and regret one I passed up on sale in Dillards.

I do have several satchels! I'll admit some of them I bought because I was influenced by tpfers. I love the way they look - they just aren't the most comfortable bags for me. I used to have 5 Sophias but now I'm down to 2. If a satchel is big, I can't carry it by the long strap as it concentrates too much weight in one spot. I can fit the handles of Sophia and Romy over my shoulder so I'll carry them that way, but I'd like them better if they weren't crammed up in my armpit! It also tends to ruin the look. They look nicer on the arm. I can carry small satchels that have crossbody straps because they aren't too heavy. My favorite bags have a comfy shoulder strap with about a 10 to 15 inch drop. The best bags clear my elbow when I put them on my shoulder with the same hand.

I can see that darn thing being caught on a thousand and one things personally. I do get what you mean with how the logo is done, i've owned a few logo wallets by Coach they seem to appeal to me but then they are buried in a bag lol so maybe it helps locate them.

Truth be told i don't like the LV logo stuff either... so really is all about what appeals.

I was looking for a shoulder bag and ended up with a satchel... i am STILL looking for that shoulder bag but it seems elusive at this moment.

How we carry our purses is so personal, some bags i cannot carry due to shoulder/arm pain.

Hello. Newbie here. Have been a lurker for quite a while and i must say this thread is a great read! I enjoyed reading all the comments and ideas as much as the pictures of your purses. :)

I got an email from Coach inviting me to shop at their Fashion Mall location since they've now closed the Circle Centre Mall location. I was amused by that because I shop either Fashion Mall or Greenwood Park Mall but haven't set foot in Circle Centre in almost a decade, so I'm not sure why they think I'd care.

It used to be a very nice mall, but started a downhill slide in the early 00's, so I can see why Coach bailed on that one. There were three FP locations in Indianapolis when that one was open.

Oh wow, i had no idea they were closing the Circle Centre location! I used to shop there (I worked downtown). That's sad cause the girls downtown were so much nicer than the SAs at the fashion mall :p

That may have changed too. When I was trying to get my hands on some of the Peanuts items I wanted last Fall, the SA was very nice and put a lot of effort into attempting to track something down. She was great with follow-up too.

I have great memories of Circle Centre when it first opened and it had the only Nordstrom in town. But once it started to get a little "iffy" and Nordstrom opened a store in Fashion Mall, that was the end of my trips down there. They really need to get a handle on things before it becomes a ghost town.
