The one I mostly go to is very close to the casino entrance. DH plays poker at Bellagio and I walk over to Caesars from there and go through the hotel to get there. The entrance from Las Vegas Boulevard I think is closer to the other one. It has shoes. It is a long way from one to the other.

Ah, I never made it that far then...... I've walked through the Caeser's casino before (but went int through the street entrance not through the Forum Shoppes), so that's why I missed the other store. Now I'll know for next time I take a trip to Vegas!

Totally OT and I know this has probably been mentioned on the forum in the past, but I wish Coach would create specialty ("touristy") type collectibles, like a key ring/fob etc... to sell in their stores from that city (ie. Vegas, NYC, Los Angeles etc...). I would DEFINITELY buy something like that in my travels (beats postcards any day!)

I totally agree with this! I would buy something like that, too.

Perhaps that will mean less will carry Coach lol :pNot that i want to pay more i have been in a MK store once..

Maybe each store is different, but I've only popped into a MK store once, after seeing a sale sign; the SA's were rather pushy, in contrast to the ones at my Coach FP, who are always chill about leaving alone to browse. In fact, my SA (who left recently, boohoo!) at Coach, would often advise me not to get something, when she doesn't think it's a good idea, or suggest something else altogether.

MK SAs are incredibly pushy! I'm so uncomfortable in their stores! Once they forced me to try on a ridiculous furry vest. I know some people complain about Coach SAs that hover, but I've never had a problem in Coach. Coach SAs seem friendly and genuine, and I've had many Coach SAs express an opinion that tended to convince me I didn't need an item. By contrast, the MK reps act like that there is a kitten that will be tortured if they don't get you to buy something!

I just realized we've had the same impressions.

I have one MK that I bought at an outlet. It is suede and I love it, but I was looking at it critically recently and decided that the smooth leather on it is not very good quality. I like that it has more inside pockets than Coach. I used to have a FP MK bag too. The leather was not as nice as my Isabelles. In my opinion, MK is successful because people like the styles or it is the "in" brand to carry. My daughter asked for a signature MK bag last Christmas because "she had enough Coach."

So sad! My local Coach at Alderwood mall in Lynwood, WA has closed! It was SO CONVENIENT.. We went to it last night to go Valentines Day shopping and it was totally cleared out. I went to the store locator to make sure it wasn't being remodeled, and it's been removed from the listing. I had JUST been there Christmas! Now the most convenient one for me to go to is downtown.. yuck. The SAs there once asked my hubby last Valentines day if he needed to buy something for "anyone else" nudge nudge. Not a fan.

EDIT: I have to echo the others here about MK being pushy. Went in looking for the Hamilton mini in red a long time ago, and a male SA tried to tell me that he didn't think they even made those (i had just seen it on the website), and was handing me other things they thought were better. I immediately said "yes they did" and "no thanks, bye." Still don't own anything MK except for a watch, thanks to that. And I didn't buy the watch IN MK, lol

I hear that a lot about the pockets.. of coarse i can relate to that, i love and must have pockets...

LOL on tortured kittens.. TBH we walked in and out my oldest daughter was like.. um, I've seen this all before by others oops.. :pokey:

I don't really have any concrete opinions on the brand, i see it loads.. i own none so really have no way to base any feedback... i do know the brand seems to generate massive opinions either for or against.

When we went they were all busy so i was okay with that, in Coach i am usually asked a few times which is okay, i expect that but they let me be, which i prefer.. i mean i know where you are if i need you lol

Coach isn't pushy to me but I can see why to others they might come across that way. They are never bothering me about what I am "shopping" for but they never can shut up about what I am wearing if it happens to be coach, no matter what store I am in. So I just don't wear coach when I want to go shopping there.
