Wow! She thinks if she doesn't mention the brand name, that makes it okay? Then there's the old "I got this as a gift" lie - she has already sold two of them - how many gifts of the same item does one person get normally?

Right! I actually got an item removed a few months ago for forgetting to put Coach in the title.

Really? I didn't know that was a requirement. Usually the only people who leave it out are trying to sneak a fake through, but I didn't know it was required for an authentic item. I didn't realize that your title had to be descriptive. I figured you could put "Looky here! Guess what I'm selling?"

It could be, although since the month code is for October it might have been made for the folllowing year's Spring line or even as a Resort color. There aren't any light greens listed as fall or winter 1996 colors.

Below are catalog shots of each color but of course the colors might not be completely accurate, and it also dependes on whether yours has faded over the years - if it has there should still be a few small areas that have close to the original color, maybe the trim around the inside zipper pocket.

Here are the Wheat (the darker tan shade), Maize and Sea colors from Spring 1996, and the Aqua, Lime and White from Spring 1997. Hope this helps a bit and doesn't just confuse things even more.

Good morning Hyacinth! I was trying to ID an odd color Sonoma for the thrift store and found this http://forum.purseblog.com/coach-re...and-reference-info-158400-5.html#post22613273 - which solved the puzzle (it's Sea). I do have another question though - I love the "D" bag in the first pic - do you have the style #/name for that? I want one! Thanks!

According to what I posted there, the D bag is also Sea.

OOOPS - sorry! I had my head stuck on colors and didn't catch the gist of your question.

Thanks, Whateve! And welcome back! :smile1:

Hi ladies,

Apologies if this is the wrong thread but as a new member I'm a bit overwhelmed! I am not able to create a thread and this looks like the best place to put this post.

I have had a terrible time with a Coach Madison Leather Carrie in parchment that I purchased in March of this year. Despite using their care products, it has worn so badly that I am embarassed to use it.

I have been to two different Coach shops here in the UK and they are completely unwilling to help. I was even branded a liar by a sales assistant after I gave up trying to get assistance from her and went to another location!

I'd be grateful if anyone could share their experiences with Coach and any advice on how to escalate my complaint.

I have heard people have had problems with Coach customer service in other countries. I don't really know what you can do. Maybe you could send an email to Coach.com? I know some people have gotten satisfaction when they went to a Coach store in another country. BTW, for some Coach items, they don't recommend using their care products.

Thanks, whateve.

I think I must just have to wait and take it back to the store in Canada where I bought it. I will have to take in the care products they specifically recommended (!!!) and ask them again.

Many thanks for your help x

You could try calling their customer service number here in the US. That is what I would do rather than driving out of my way. It is to their advantage to know what is going on, both with their product and their non US stores.

Hi there! Could someone kindly help me identify the style and/or year/decade of this Coach bag? It's from a consignment shop. Thank you so much!
