Mod shots of the Ivy Rogue Shoulder bag. It came a bit roughed up. Zero stuffing. A dent of some sort on the front. I agree that the leather is thin. But I still love this bag! I actually love the thin leather - makes it feel dainty and delicate. And it’s so light I just love it! It is a perfect size for me. I’m 5’2”. And narrow enough. The color is gorgeous including the lining of the pockets. I really like that the pockets are leather-lined instead of suede because I will use them a lot.

So today I went to the nearest coach outlet to do returns of items I had to admit that I just won't use ($200 worth - lol). In any case I inquired about found orders and the sales rep said they are being told not to do found orders because of their inventory issues (she still checked on an item for me). We both said FIX the system rather than PUNISH the customers. I also asked her why does it always take forever for them to do returns for me and she shared that because the FOS and outlet stores are separate businesses they always have to enter in items manually...NOT integrated...Such a mess!

This was most likely a one-off and due to human error, buuutttttt just in case it’s not, this is my PSA for the day... As we all return items from the recent sales BE SURE TO VERIFY YOUR RECEIPTS!

I returned my Ivy Rogue in store today with what initially appeared to be no problems. Chatted with the SAs briefly, took a quick tour of what they had on hand for deletes (gorgeous Rodarte turnlock pouch in a shape/size I’d never use), and then left. When I got out to the car I realized my receipt showed that I had returned a turnlock Edie and shorted me approximately $125 on the refund. Went back into the store thinking JAX must have attached the wrong tag to the bag, but both the SA, her manager, and I verified both the tag on the bag and the plastic bag it shipped in were correct for the Rogue I’d bought. My shipping invoice was correct as well.

Long story short, no one knows how I was refunded for an Edie instead of a Rogue (I’ve never purchased an Edie from Coach, the Outlet, or FOS), and we got it resolved without too much hassle for the SAs, but it was just odd. I’m fairly certain the SA scanned the tag attached to the Rogue in addition to my shipping invoice when she did the initial return.

I did have them pull up my purchase history just to be sure my account hadn’t been hacked (it was fine). Driving home I couldn’t help but wonder if some of the recent glitches we’ve noticed on the sale sight aren’t affecting more than just the screens we see on FOS! Like I said, I’m sure this was just a random one-off, but encourage everyone to keep an eye out just in case it’s not! =)

I absolutely check every time because my invoices tend to not include our state tax. The SA won't necessarily check so I always inform them and have a copy of my online receipt to try and help speed up the process else they have to take time and look up the order in the system....

Also just for fun. A comparison photo of my most recent Online Factory order and a Retail one.:P

Thank you for the photo! Sometimes I wonder if I'm just sensitive about the Coach Outlet packaging and quality control in general. This is proof that the Outlet doesn't seem to care about quality control or presentation at all. I understand it's an outlet and shouldn't be as fancy as the boutique, but they could care a little IMO. Thanks again!! Hope your purchases were both great!

It’s a basic CHI. I have it on 400 setting for my hair whic is the temp I used to straighten the leather. I would recommend doing 350 to be on the safe side. And only do it with smooth (not pebbled, caviar, suede, etc) leather.
That's great to know. Did you put anything around the leather or just the leather directly against the heat? I've ironed leather before with my steam iron, but I put a press cloth down over the leather.
