Same tired bags. Nothing new.

I know, I wasn't impressed either. They had several different colors of just plain ol' Rogues listed, but then the system wouldn't let me add any of them to my cart. They showed as available, just didn't have a 'purchase now' button anywhere on the page. I wouldn't have minded the olive w/ black handles, but I'm not liking it enough to go through the rigmarole of contacting customer service to try and order it. I didn't think the price was that spectacular either.

When I was at the outlet looking up found orders last week, some colors of the plain Rogues were showing 1000+ bags in inventory. Some of the fancier, embellished Rogues still had several hundred of each color. Same deal with the Dreamer totes in different sizes, some of the Outlaw bags, and other older 1941 styles. Where the heck are all of those bags, and why are they sitting on them?! I'm assuming Coach just has a wildly inaccurate inventory system, and someone in the marketing department has grand fever dreams of transforming the Coach buying experience into something closer to the Hermes experience, but still. Grrrrrrr. My "have money, want to spend" attitude is going to shift back into "let's save up for something really special" mode before too long. :annoyed:

Is it just me or is Coach Factory quality control not very strong? I ordered a coated canvas mini skinny and when I received it it has excess wax or glue or whatever it is they used to coat over on it. I mean who really wants something with the excess residue showing. Is it just me and my OCD or what? Lol. I don't mind marks and nicks if I make them, but being excited for something new that already has visible and ugly marks is depressing.

Exactly they are sitting on them. Check this out. Seems local post office (via the so called Sure Post partner agreement between UPS & USPS) misplaced/lost a charm of mine that was supposedly sold out (at least for last sale). Contacted coach and they immediately shipped another....would really like to know their inventory management strategy???? Xx

I am worried that any style of Rogue that has thousands in inventory is a Factory remake, or a 4th generation rerun with lower quality materials.

I ended up returning my Rogue Shoulder bag to an outlet store yesterday. The line to get inside was unreal (and honestly, I didn't see anything that was special inside; everything I would have been interested, like the Star Wars bear charms and small SLGs, were mostly sold out) and then the folks at the register almost turned me away when I tried to return my FOS item!

I am so glad I insisted they take a second look at my receipt. Because I was also able to produce my email confirmation (which had the Coach Outlet logo at the top) they finally let me make the return. I know the sales folks must be so hassled at this time of year, especially during a major sale/holiday shopping season, but I really didn't like their attitude towards me when I insisted they were mistaken about their own return policy.

This is crazy. Today at the Outlet online you can get this Rogue 25 for $238.

But, at the Boutique online you can get this Rogue 25 for $238.

LOL I think for a long time you could really only get 30% and maybe 40% off of retail items through the boutiques. But now with SAS and extra 20% and sometimes cash back sites having 12-15% you can get as good or almost as good deals through the boutique.

I’m thankful because I’m locked out of FOS currently. Who knows why because I’m a loyal customer who purchased a lot through FOS.

I watched a video on YouTube today about the current SAS and the shopper said that this sale is a permanent sale? She seemed to think they wouldn’t be sending the items over to outlets that quickly and intended to just keep them at sale prices until they sold out. I don’t know if that’s true but would be interesting!

They did have a run of rogue shoulder bags with F creeds several months to a year ago.
Yeah I remember reading about that. I don't remember if it was determined that those were 3rd generation Rogues that went directly to outlet or if those were mff bags. The talk was never definitive if I remember lol.

My thought was that style wasn’t selling well in the boutiques but they still had an order in with the factory and had all the materials to make more so they made them but just with an F creed with direct sale at outlets.
