I just realized I donated my Fawlty Towers videotapes when our VCR died. I need to get a digital version. Too bad they got a divorce or we might have gotten more than one season of them.

Not sure how much of that decision was affected by the divorce, but what they did make was brilliant. And anyone in the mood for more snobbishness and social climbing can always visit the Bucket (that's pronounced Boo-KAY) residence.

BTW, I just came across a 30-year anniversary special that the BBC did in 2009 - 90 minutes of clips, cast interviews, and a lot of giggles - check it out if you haven't already seen it. "Fawlty Towers: Re Opened"

in case that doesn't work, here's the linky, just backspace over the space in the URL after www

Thank you so much for this! It's wonderful.

Loved Keeping Up Appearances. PBS even had a gift w/ pledge of a teacup and saucer, Colclough Braganza, just like Hyacinth's Royal Doulton w/ hand painted periwinkles. Of course I got one!

Many years ago we stayed at a small hotel in the Bahamas that was owned and operated by a British family and it reminded me so much of Fawlty Towers! Meals were always interesting and included options like "bangers and johnnie cakes". I especially remember that they had an Honor Bar. You mixed your own drinks and wrote it down on a note pad and then they added an amount to your bill at the end of the week, it was a memorable trip!

New sale starts Monday. The site now lets you explore bags when the sale is not open and looks like there is now an outlet version of the Nomad Crossbody called the Mae Crossbody?!?

The Lunch Pail bags also look interesting...

Hmm, I have only had invites last few months but I know from last FOS or two at least I could explore "the products" before official open and add to my wishlist. But it only shows MFF items and stuff "leftover" from prior sales. New stuff for FOS gets added at time of offical open. Like last time the Rogue Satchels did not show up until sale opened, but all the usual stuff (ie City totes) was visible beforehand.

I did see the Mae. Yes, looks like a version of the Nomad crossbody.

Those lunch pails are cute along with some of the patches and stickers they have too. But why change the strap on the Bennett I think it lowers the bag.

And is the Mae an outlet bag? If you type in reserve that brings up retail items and they include the Mae in that.
