Well, they've done that before.

That's right, I saw those bags too! Strange that they let the 36 satchel get sold out before pulling it. I saw the Rogue satchel at the outlet and liked it well enough, just not over $300 well enough. I wasn't real impressed that the long strap was hooked on just one side of the bag, it makes it hang oddly.

There's no doubt in my mind that they're rotating the merchandise with every click of the refresh button! I feel like I'm playing a slot machine!

I think that the (sold out) Teddy Bear charms are similar - but not identical - to the Teddy Bears (style number 58811G) that they were giving away at the outlets last Christmas as a free gift with purchase.

I picked one up for $10 after Christmas and I wish that I had gotten several of them because they are very cute!

Here are pics of my Teddy on my MBMJ Dome Clutch.

OMG! Those lunch pails are so cute!!!

Those lunch pails are cute...

Lunch pails are cute...

Totally agree!!! Such a vintage feel to them.

I hope someone orders or sees the lunch pails at the outlet soon. I think the purple one is adorable but probably too small for me.

I like the look of the lunch pails too, but even at a good price I don't know if I would be comfortable carrying food and beverages in a Coach leather bag with fabric lining. Especially in a lighter color bag like the purple - but it is darling! .

I carry my lunch every day and I try to contain everything securely but accidents do happen. For years I have used Vera Bradley lunch totes made of plastic coated fabric inside and out. When they get dirty I just wipe them off or I throw them in the washer - and after they start to look beat-up, I buy a new one!

I don't think they are meant to be used as a lunch box! They are just called that because they are inspired by the 1990s lunchbox zip #9991.

I never thought that Coach is pushing them to be used as an actual lunch box....the interior has no insulation or any sign that it would hold or carry food (or easy spill wipeups)! But minus the detachable shoulder strap, the shape and handle of it are identical to a generic lunchbox.

For a few minutes, I considered getting that beautiful Midnight color, with its exquisite glovetanned leather, but I could not think of any situation that this bag would be useful to me...but the leather and the price are very seductive, lol. IF I were toting lunches around, I'd probably buy one and just make sure I make it spill-proof by maybe lining it with a large Ziploc bag (placing the food into the Ziploc).

EDIT -- I just realized that you posted the original lunchbox zip photos -- so now it makes more sense -- but even the original DOES look exactly like a lunch box, haha.

ADDITIONAL EDIT -- To me, the original version looks even nicer/classier than the current one.

They are adorable! These new ones are much more detailed than the ones given out at Christmas. Each one has an enamel colored collar and a tiny Coach hangtag hanging from the collar. They seemed to be much heavier too.

Yes they're quite heavy! I picked them up at the outlets and they were super cute and nicely detailed. However I think if I clipped it to a dinky or some other small bag it could tilt it sideways haha
