Coach Factory Online Sale Discussion Thread

I called them the day before to find out the exact time the sale would be up and they said 9 am Eastern with a lot of certainty. I went on the site before 9, maybe 10-15 mins before and almost everything I wanted was sold out. Feel like resellers just buy everything up for their eBay page. They should really limit quantities more strictly than '10' as if people don't make multiple accounts and buy everything that sells on eBay. It's very frustrating just trying to get a few things I missed out on at the outlet... the only way to get them is something like eBay by paying way more than the original price, which is really annoying considering stuff was on clearance with additional 40% off on the site and disappeared instantly. I don't buy (no pun intended :annoyed:) for a second that it's real customers because you will see those same items all over eBay in large quantities in about 5-7 business days :-s. Same with certain items at local stores; some guy buys like 50 Baseman totes and then sell them on eBay forcing everyone else who wants one to drive to a different store or to pay for shipping. Maybe I'm just complaining excessively but it pissed me off today and I almost gave up on buying anything at all.

Yeah they were way off, it was up at least at 6am est.

I'm sorry this has been so frustrating for you. Were your selections really great low prices? I'm asking that because I was in the middle of paying for my one item, through PayPal, (Hudson Tote in Mustard, $225) and the website crashed for about 30 minutes (with the popup apology to try again soon). But once it was back up, everything went smoothly. But my tote costs $225 and may not be much in demand because it comes in aboout 7 colors and none are sold out, even as I type this. I can only guess that that's because it's over $200 and not considered a real bargain.

But I know it's frustrating when we do everything correctly and others (or circumstances) still mess things up.

Thanks, it happens to us all I'm sure. I was trying to shop items what weren't in my regular outlet anymore, and some of those were on clearance so it definitely was a good deal. I liked the Emmanuel Hare scarf a lot, and some of those black and white mickey wallets, bookmarks and bangles. There were even things that said 'low on stock' and wouldn't let me add them after countless attempts (probably an online error and it was just out of stock).

Yeah they were way off, it was up at least at 6am est.

If it was up at 6 am (last I checked was like 4:30 am and it wasn't up yet) then it makes more sense as to why everything was gone. Although, when i went to the site before 9 a lot of things said they were in stock, but simply weren't adding to my bag. Again, could be an error. I wish they would say "we have no idea when it will be up, maybe 5 am maybe 10 am, good luck!" and then I would have stayed up a bit and waited for it...maybe that's silly but since I'm not prepared to pay twice as much on ebay, it was my last chance for most of these things :(

I am not against the spirit of competitive shopping and limited quantities. I think it keeps a brand more stable and high quality if they don't over produce things and sell them out. Like the Rexy charms last year were gone off the face of the earth, there were one or two on ebay but for the most part people just cleaned them out because there were so few. That I approve of because it would cheapen the brand to have a bunch of Rexys sitting in bins at the outlet. However, if I know people are buying from resell and it's the coach OUTLET sale then it really annoys me that they don't care to make it more fair. People not being able to complete their purchases or losing items from their bags is unacceptable >:

I've been wanting these sneakers for a while but didn't want to order them online sight unseen. So yesterday I made the long track to the Coach outlet store in Chandler AZ. Tried them on and fell in love with them. They are very cute and comfy. I got my regular size which I found very IMG_1500661388.063401.jpgslightly big lengthwise, but the shoes are just a little too narrow for my wider feet so I feel the longer length works to help them spread out a bit, if that makes sense.
I also picked up this cute card case. The leather feels very thick and substantial. Paid less than $100 for both items together!

Most of the time, such as this time, it opens at 3:30AM Eastern.

It didn't because I was awake until 4 am :/
I'm afraid it was. I logged in at 4:30 central / 3:30 eastern, but there was problems with the website. I did get the one item I wanted in my cart and got checked out by 4:40......but there were glitches & delays which is why it took me 10 minutes to check out. I was afraid it would be sold out before the website would quit freezing up and let me pay.

Why don't they just say they don't know when it will be up or if their site will work. I mean...I'm done complaining but man I hate almost nothing more than misinformation spread by a company. Just admit you don't effin know.

4:30 central is 5:30 eastern. I'm usually able to get in at 5:30.

Oh, duh! Sorry, I guess I had a brain fart and was thinking backwards.

Lol I didn't even catch that...I guess we were both right then because I went to bed right before it opened. I was thinking it could open earlier but when it didn't for a long time I figured they actually knew what they were talking about when they said 9 am...heh silly me

:yucky::yucky::yucky: So SORRY y'all! My bad! Yes it was open 4:30AM Central time, and I tried to "help" you by converting it to Eastern time and did exactly the opposite! The sale was open 4:30AM Central, 5:30AM Eastern. Not 3:30AM. :p:p:p
