Coach Factory Online Sale Discussion Thread

I use the drill-down search engine that Mang0 created for us several years ago, link below. The tricky part is that you usually have to know the hardware and color codes for the item.

I have now made it a habit to include these codes whenever I reveal an item because I figure that someone may be looking for the information later. Sometimes they are easy to figure out (like SV BK for silver hardware, black leather) but sometimes they are harder. If you can find the item NWT on ebay you may be able to see the tag with the codes.

The codes for your wallet are 53734 svdn8 (silver hardware and true red leather). Click on the picture to enlarge and then right click to "save as".

Can anybody explain how things sell out when they're RESERVED in your bag [emoji35]

I don't even want to order anything now

Ah, sorry.

I checked out sale this morning but once again did not order anything. Being good!

Surprised at all the Coach x Disney stuff that was available (i.e. not sold out) in Clearance since I thought that was "done". Fortunately I am not into Disney as there would have been a lot of temptation. I debated for a hot second getting the Patricia Mickey in black, but I won't use my Saddle 23 all that much as is (due to size) to justify one I would use even less as it has Mickey on it! A good price is only a good deal if it was something I had really wanted and/or needed in the first place!

My 15 wasn't up yet when I went to check out and it was removed from my cart. Happened to me before too. So irritating
It has happened to me before too. I will have it in my cart and just a few minutes later I'm not allowed to pay for it because it was sold out. So this morning I found one of two items I was looking for and checked out within a minute of putting it in my cart. Apparently, the 15 minutes of reserve doesn't work right anymore.

I called them the day before to find out the exact time the sale would be up and they said 9 am Eastern with a lot of certainty. I went on the site before 9, maybe 10-15 mins before and almost everything I wanted was sold out. Feel like resellers just buy everything up for their eBay page. They should really limit quantities more strictly than '10' as if people don't make multiple accounts and buy everything that sells on eBay. It's very frustrating just trying to get a few things I missed out on at the outlet... the only way to get them is something like eBay by paying way more than the original price, which is really annoying considering stuff was on clearance with additional 40% off on the site and disappeared instantly. I don't buy (no pun intended :annoyed:) for a second that it's real customers because you will see those same items all over eBay in large quantities in about 5-7 business days :-s. Same with certain items at local stores; some guy buys like 50 Baseman totes and then sell them on eBay forcing everyone else who wants one to drive to a different store or to pay for shipping. Maybe I'm just complaining excessively but it pissed me off today and I almost gave up on buying anything at all.

I'm sorry this has been so frustrating for you. Were your selections really great low prices? I'm asking that because I was in the middle of paying for my one item, through PayPal, (Hudson Tote in Mustard, $225) and the website crashed for about 30 minutes (with the popup apology to try again soon). But once it was back up, everything went smoothly. But my tote costs $225 and may not be much in demand because it comes in aboout 7 colors and none are sold out, even as I type this. I can only guess that that's because it's over $200 and not considered a real bargain.

But I know it's frustrating when we do everything correctly and others (or circumstances) still mess things up.
