Hi everyone,

Probably a stupid question but I purchased the medium continental wallet in oxblood for my mums birthday and wanted it waterproofed etc before giving it to her (as she'd forget). But I was wondering whether I should use collonil leather gel on the inside nappa lined part of the purse?

Thank you for help!

I owned an oxblood continental purse for a while... only treated the outside (with collonil gel as you suggest), not the inside - and it was completely fine.
However if you want to be super careful, why not treat the inside as well for peace of mind?

Hi :-), there's loads of info in the reference library and I'm confident you will find the info you need. Enjoy your collection

I am now contemplating the Brimley - the tri-colour one. However the base/sides of the bag is suede and the bag has no feet.

What's the best way to look after this bag?

As an aside, I've had my local HoF return an Amberley and a Brimley back to Mulberry. Both bags had minor but visible faults, which imo should have been seen and not sent out. Maybe it's me, but I expect to purchase a perfect bag.

Hello everyone, and my apologies if this has been covered elsewhere, but I can't seem to find the exact answer to this question in the leather care threads here. What I am wondering is this: when you buy a brand new bag, which do you apply first: the Collonil leather gel or the Water Stop spray? I know it's a good idea to do both (or at least, I think it is), but is there a correct order to apply them? ( I've just snagged myself a lovely blue Tessie rivet satchel from Cheshire Oaks, and am very eager to do right by her).

Does anyone have a good suggestion on how to make these marks on the front of a Alexa less evident? This is my first mulberry and with my other bags I have had success conditioning the leather but am not sure what will work for this type of leather. I would prefer to stay away from any dye/anything colored because I know it can be hard to match the color.

I recently got an older scotchgrain bag, which is in great condition, but one of the corners is ever so slightly worn. Any ideas what to do to stop it wearing out more? All I could think of was clear nail polish  I don't want to send the bag anywhere since it's so minor so any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
