Hi guys. REALLLLLYYY need some advice pronto please!
Okay. I have a medium lily dark blush and accidentally got marmite on the inside flap on the suede. (DONT ASK [emoji23][emoji23] total bummer) any advice how to get it off???
Was thinking of water? Or the collonil gel stuff.
As I did also get some on the actual glossy goat leather outside too... Can I use water on that or will it Mark? X

Try baby wipes. Or a wet (not dripping wet but well wrung out) cloth. I got birds crap of a leather bag with it. But: I don't own glossy goat bags. So I don't know if it will mark. I would be careful. There will be others with more helpful advice. Good luck. :)

Ooh good thinking! I will try a baby wipe now!!
Thank you!!!
I was on my way to work so couldn't even sort it right away. Just got home so am going to tackle it now.
I was close to tears with panic! Hahahah. How embarrassing! X

Please tell me if it worked out.
First rule in such cases: Don't panic and never feel embarressed. :) I had pretty much of everything on my bags. The already named bird crap, a bowl of chocolate pudding, biro, denim colour transfer,... Most of it comes off again or vanishes with time. Good luck to you and your Lily again. :)

I've done it. And I think it's gotten it out. However now that area feels rough --and I only dabbed!! I didn't rub or anything, so hoping it's just that it hasn't fully dried yet or anything. I will check back in an hour or so :(!!! So worried!!

Thank you though!! X

I guess the suede will stay rough for a while. But it will be better with use. On the outside I would put some collonil etc. on. All will be fine. :)

So I just bought this gorgeous oxblood bayswater from mulberry in leeds.

Quick question...,.. With a new bag....Did you ladies leave the protective covering on your hardware? I can't bring myself to remove it!

Also the lady instore said all I need to do is spray with collonil spray once a week for a month. Then monthly after. She said the gel is for cleaning in the future. Does this fit in with what you girls have done?

I tend to remove the plastic covering on the outside hardware only. I use the spray but I don't spray my bags that often as I heavily rotate do only spray them once or twice a year. It depends on how often you're planning to use it, I would have thought monthly would be fine. I'd only use the gel if the leather is looking a bit dry.

Anyone used the collonil coloured gel?

I've coated my black NVT SBS with the regular gel, however front corners are looking a little grey.

Could she just need a bit of nourishment or perhaps the coloured gel? Lord Sheraton wipes aren't doing it.

Does it rub off and mark other things?

I still don't know what's better collonil leather gel or the plain old gel?

Thanks all

I bought an oak bayswater at Heathrow airport and instead of getting the collinil, I wanted to try my Vectra spray. I gave the bag 2 coats (spaced through a day) before taking it out and had no issues with darkening, etc. I was caught in the rain unexpectedly 2 days ago and was really worried about the bag, but the rain just beaded up and no water spots! I definitely recommend the Vectra spray as an alternative.

Hello lovelies, I've just bought my first Mulberry bag, reg Alexa in oak, preloved  How should I treat it, does it need something? I've only heard of collonil spray. It is in good used condition, however will be used in all weather etc and don't want to ruin it but don't want to be scared of using it. Many thanks for your help x
