Hi everyone,

I am very lucky that recently my SA offered an mk lizard touch for me.

when I travel I often brings some of my bags.

She mentioned that for this specific bag there’s no cites. I am honestly afraid to bring an exotic leather bag (although it’s just touch) without cites. Has anyone experience the same when buying a Lizard touch bag from boutique?

Can’t they source the CITES for you? (It is the boutique after all)

My SA is double checking with the head office now. that’s a bit shocking because all of my exotic rodeo no matter how small the part of the exotic skin comes with CITES.

Also where I live now is not my permanent home, so in the future I will have to travel and move with this bag.

I have a Kelly Mini Touch with Lizard and it came with CITES. As did another Touch bag and also a Rodeo. I hope you'll be able to get the correct documentation for your bag. 🤞

I do hope you get your CITES just for peace of mind. Everything I have ever purchased has CITEs including watch straps and even one tiny piece of exotic in a petit h wallet. I had a bit of delay in London but managed to obtain a CITES for a petit h croc stool as well. I too have not lived in my permanent home for more than a decade, and I feel the constant moves really require proper documentation for chances of a smooth and fast relocation. Good luck!

Thank you for your reply and sharing your experiences. My amazing SA requested to head office to send me a copy of CITES to my home address, so I am hoping it will come 🥹🥹. It was also my fault, I should have confirm with my SA about the CITES before purchasing the bag.

That’s disappointing the SA didnt know that the lizard bag whould have CITES paperwork. Even a tiny strip of lizard on my petit H cardholder came with CiTES. I wouldve been livid especially it’s a major purchase such as a MK. Just saying lol. Hope you get this dilemma resolved.

My k25 touch lizard came with CITES and I’m still scared to travel with it. Hope you can resolve this. (And congrats on the bag!)

I’ve bought many exotic products from my SA, and been shopping with her for a long time. I don’t think she just guessed it, I think she asked someone about it. I don’t blame her really, I blame myself not to confirm before purchasing, because usually they just send the CITES to my home address.

she already talk to head office and said they’ll send it to me, but I’ll be super anxious until it arrives. Wish me luck!

Hi ladies… I'm very tempted to buy a lizard kelly from a reputable reseller in UK, it has the receipt but NO Cites, I don't think it's a wise move right? Needing some support here to stay firm lol

if you’re not planning to take it out of the UK ever, and the price is a steal, I’d say go for it.

If you’re planning to move in the future, and want to have the flexibility of taking it out of the country then I think you should keep looking for the one with cites certification.

Replying to my own question, the store sent me the copy of cites certificate! Thanks everyone for telling me to chase it!

Can you please share any info to verify?
I’ve received cite certificates on my croc bags/pegasus, however, I was told lizards don’t get issued cites.
Should I not bring the lizards out of US while traveling since I wasn’t given cites on these items purchases from boutique?
TIA.

I think that even my tiny petit H card case with a strip of lizard came with a cites. I don’t remember what I did with the cites, but no one has ever stopped me when I travel to inquire. Having said that, it is better to be safe than sorry with a lizard bag

ETA: just realized @Xthgirl said exactly the same upthread on this page, in her post #502
