CITES, travel and exotics

Ostrich does not have a CITES. Just to add, I brought my ostrich MK to London with no issue.
as a general guide
just to be on the safe side, I always find the regulations that relate to what I am doing
and print them off, so that if challenged I would be able to show the officer the rules that I was following
I mean The Regulations - not a summary from a travel guide
it really is better to safe than sorry,
I do not think this is the cases here, but especially if you are not fluent in the language of the country you are in
Ostrich no longer require CITES as it's been taken off the list and thus the certs are not issued for recent purchases. Of the exotics H offers, I tend to travel most with my Ostrich bags as they are least likely to pose problems. Edited to add that for all other bags I leave the CITES inside so that I am never without it at customs. Hope this helps!
