Thank you bunnycat, papertiger and Cookiefiend for this invaluable information. I love my mousseline collection, and this information makes them all the more meaningful :smile:

I have relatively few H moussies (compared with 90s) and it's all been in the last couple of years. They seem to be the most romantic format, catching all the compliments. It's a shame H is resting them because I feel they've really become popular on tPF, there were never that many around anyway.

Ohmigoodness - 2 beauties showed up today!
First Parures des Sables - I love how the red and blue gems pop on this!

And then a grail. So beautiful, truly.
Mosaique au 24 changeant.
Because we were just discussing changeants, I tried to catch the glow - a la @bunnycat but not as successful!
It is orange and pink changeant [emoji173]️
Inside where I take most of my SOTD pictures:

Oh wow, you must be thrilled, congratulations, these are both fab and I love the colour of the mosaic. One of my chageants is also very subtle and in a way I think these make the best shimmer and sparkle IRL but so difficult to capture on camera.

The orange glow is much more dominate than the pink - both are lovely!
These are truly dreamy, Cookie! Congratulations!
Thank you so much Croissette!

I am thrilled - thank you! It is incredibly different to capture! I kept noticing even while taking the pictures, that what was showing on the screen was completely different than what I was actually seeing!
@Cookiefiend Congrats on your two new mousselines! :woohoo: The Mosaique au 24 changeant looks so much better in your pics than on the site! :hbeat:
Thanks to you! I wouldn't have gone there with out your little PSA! :giggle:
It does look a thousand times better in real life! :hbeat:

Do you know what the pretty red floral scarf is on the counter next to Animapolis?

to be honest i was SO excited to see the Animapolis that i didn't check out well the moussies, it was one in red/dark red colours, and i have very similar cw moussie from AMcQ, hence it didn't attract me much... they had something in brown, green, and red, none was any appealing (i thought if light blue, pink, purple, but there were no safe colours for me)
It looks like it could be the exceptional Iris mousseline?

My moussie of the day from yesterday, which is so difficult to photograph. I have a technical question for the experts here - is this a mousseline, a changeant or both? It is heavier than my other mousseline. Also, heaven forbid, if I ever need to wash, can I wash a changeant? I just took the plunge with a couple of 90cm but the thought of washing either my mousselines or this one is quite daunting. Thanks!.IMG_5498.jpg

Its beautiful and and it can be both a mousse line and changing as changing is a type of mousseline. @bunnycat is one of our expert mousseline tPFer hopefully she will know more about washing it.:flowers:

It looks like it may be a changeant, but very subtle if so. (My Axis Mundi is like that too....) I have washed mousseline regardless of size or type and (for me) never had a problem that would bother me at all, but YMMV and it is a LOT of chiffon to iron when you are on a time crunch of ironing before it dries. I think we talked about it back in the spring. It's something that needs to be in your comfort zone, if you do want to try it. (Maybe practice on a cheaper chiffon of some other non H flavor first?)

I think it may be (but one of those really subtle ones).
