Scarf mail! Chasse en Inde mousseline stole in 09 blue glacier/ turquoise/ rose
Not sure if this a changeant like my green one, but it is very beautiful just the same! Took a few quick pix before DH grabs it to wrap up for Xmas!
Last pic shows it with the green one that I found earlier this year. love this design in this format, could have bought every CW, LOL!E45D1A4B-84E0-45D8-ADAA-CBD1D5DCCA74.jpeg 7D63EC8A-B97D-407B-82C4-3704B6607CFB.jpeg 10A0F8AC-3F55-48BA-AEAC-FD33A0E86758.jpeg 046EFA5D-E3AB-43EB-869E-FC32E73E9067.jpeg 52558C75-C861-4973-ABB0-D5738DE6F327.jpeg

I keep meaning to go back to photographing my whole collection of mousselines, but when I have the time, I don't have sunlight; and when I have the sunlight, I don't have the time. :annoyed: One day! I'm always taking in and booting out so many mousselines that the entire collection will be different by the time I get around to it.

In the meantime... adding a photo of a pattern of which I've only seen one other colorway in chiffon (@JRTgal's blue one, here). Les Amazones has long been a favorite pattern of mine, but I could never quite get the 90 silk to work for me. The 90 mousseline is another thing entirely! I love that the borders have a somewhat sponge-paint affect, much like one of my all-time favorite mousselines, Splendeurs des Maharajas. The color is a mixture between raspberry pink and lipstick pink. I had to pull out the "big camera" to capture it-- even the latest iPhone camera turns it kind of orange and dull. Moussies are so tricky to get on film.

Just realized I accidentally featured the horse's asses in my bias fold. :amuse:

Such a wonderful design by Philippe Dumas, also a well-know illustrator for children's books!
Happy to know this design exists as a mousseline.
Congratulations!

Beautiful! Didn’t know this came as a moussie. Do you know approx what year?
And I agree, moussies are so hard to capture in photos!

Thanks so much, everyone!

@scarf1, I don't know the exact year, but it's definitely pre-2008 and I suspect pre-2005, based on some internet sleuthing + the hand of the scarf, which has that wonderful sturdiness characteristic of older moussies. :flowers:

You've heard of Way back Wednesday, And Throw Back Thursday, non?

Well- I'm here this evening to instigate a Scarebleu Saturday...Oh la la la la what has bunnycat done now???

In my defense, I can't help it. I like cats....I really like cats....so even though I just recently acquired the lovely Parures de Sables changeant, when I saw this one I had to have it too...

Meet Guepards 140 in CW 12 Champagne/Jaune Vif/Orange

Kitties, kitties everywhere!

And then, I am hopeless when it comes to bargains (that's relative in terms of H, of course) and I really like Dimitri R's work...so this way out and wild one made its way to me as well a couple of weeks ago...

So banned....so banned...(let me know how that turns out, yeah? )

Onde de Chic - from 2005? I think??? It's about as heavy as my Cavaliers d'Or, much more substantial than the recent ones.

Hello wavy horsey!
