Thanks Bonnie! I did see those beautiful postings. I am also excited to see the Ors Bleus d'Afrique GM mousse and Galop Chromatique mousse stole for SS13. Can't wait to see your Axis Mundi (I never get tired of mousse pics, even if others have posted the same cw)!!

I, too, am really excited about seeing Ors in the mousse. I hope that pattern starts trickling into boutiques soon!

And I completely agree that the more pics, the better, when it comes to the mousselines. They look so different in different lighting and with different folding-- so please do post pics for us, Bonnie!

ouija board, I too have an eye out for Galop Chromatique in the mousse stole and haven't seen it at my boutique. I remember going through the cw's with my SA and unfortunately did not write them down and they have floated out of my head. I will try to get that information next time I visit.

I am also dying to see the Ors in the mouse GM, too -- if anyone sees it IRL will you please me know?

I just saw this in another CW at the Boutique and it hasnt left my mind since. It was a dark grey green brown and breathtaking. Darn. I love them all.

That sounds gorgeous! Are you thinking of going back for it? I find it so hard to resist the ones that stay on my mind long after I've left the boutique.

OMG, these are two of my favorites and somehow I missed that they were coming out in mousseline. I have a 90 cm twill in each of these patterns, but would looooove to see them in mousseline. This season is becoming very dangerous for me!!

For the rest of my fellow mousse-lovers, I have the tiniest bit of intel on the Ors shawl: it will come in blue, red, and orange. No word on whether any of them will be a changeant. I'm itching to see the blue myself.

Ooooh, good to know, thanks calexandre - I asked my SA about the Ors and the Gallop Chromatique mousselines but she didn't have any info...sigh...I can't wait to see these!!

No idea about the Canadian prices, but I hope you'll share photos with us when your mousseline interest becomes a reality! They are really marvelous bits of silk.

My latest mousseline love, Les Flots du Cheval in the blue colourway posted by calexandre (post 2644). The colours are listed as bleu lac/petrole/cobalt.

Without folding, the shawl is translucent, despite the rich and deep blues. In the last picture, I've folded it on the bias to show how dark it can be when layered.

What drew me to it is the purple, which can look like bleu electrique from certain angles. As with all the mousselines, it's really difficult to capture the colours accurately on camera. In real life, it is slightly less bright blue than it appears (at least on my screen) and the border is more petrol blue. There are several blues in the shawl and short of going through the leather swatches in the store, I'm not sure I'd be able to name all the colours, although I am pretty sure it would go well with the mid-blues introduced during this and recent seasons.

Sorry, that was much rambling and not much help re colours - I just know that I like it!

This is SO pretty! I wonder when it will show up in our local boutique! This blue goes well with most of my jeans. Really want to see it IRL! Thx for sharing!
