Well, I could not match hopiko's gorgeous beach shots of this mousseline. Her photos really capture it perfectly-- it's much more the rich turquoise in her photos than a cool blue, which is how it looks on my monitor in my photos and in the ones on H.com right now. So grateful for those lovely pics, hopiko! :hugs:

And in case it doesn't go without saying at this point, I am now officially obsessed with the mousselines. I think I love them more than the cashmeres, actually, for the way that they can be fluffed up, knotted down, thrown on, carefully arranged, cold weather, hot weather, casual, dressy...

Cheers to obsession! This color is striking on you!

I notice no difference at all between the changeants and the regular mousselines. I thought it was just the added dimensional color. I think if anything, the changeants feel slightly lighter in weight, a bit more slippery (?) but am not certain of this. They are equally 'hardy' but delicate and have that floating quality that makes them so wonderful in the summer. And your new blue is just stunning on you calexandre! Congrats!

Lanit, I totally agree, they changeants are more "slippery"..and a bit lighter!

BTW, congrats on the yellow concours, you will LOVE it!

Lanit and Hopiko, thanks for the reassurances! I will wear my new treasures with more confidence now. (And Lanit, I second Hopiko's congrats on the yellow Concours-- I think it ties the most spectacularly of all the colorways).

The lime is not changeant. The mousse is much thicker than the axis. I wonder whether it is to get the color so electric? Will have to collect a few older mousse.... Purely for research you understand.

doloresmia - wow - beautiful!!!
what is the bright lime one? Those are 2 scarves, right?

Also would you consider the arbres in the gris a fall/winter scarf? On the dark side for spring and summer?

TIA!!

Saw this at madison yesterday, it is stunning!

Has anyone seen the Galop Chromatique mousseline stoles in stores yet? I'm eagerly awaiting them and avoiding buying anything else, which is hard to do when you ladies keep posting such gorgeous mousselines!

Thank you Hopiko and calexandre. I am hoping the yellow works on me, because I rarely get to wear it and it is one of my favorite colors, but tricky when it comes to silks ! I am still waiting to see the Axis Mundi in other colorways other than blue and pink! ouija - did H tell you Galop Chromatique is being issued in a mousse this year? Our store never knows what is coming, only as it arrives.

I only know from what was posted in the Spring 2013 thread. I hope I didn't misread since it was from a few months ago.

Yes two scarves, one legends mogholes and the other axis Mundi

I think the axis would look amazing against white shirt and pants for summer, so no! Year around for sure.

ouija board, I too have an eye out for Galop Chromatique in the mousse stole and haven't seen it at my boutique. I remember going through the cw's with my SA and unfortunately did not write them down and they have floated out of my head. I will try to get that information next time I visit.

I am also dying to see the Ors in the mouse GM, too -- if anyone sees it IRL will you please me know?

I just saw this in another CW at the Boutique and it hasnt left my mind since. It was a dark grey green brown and breathtaking. Darn. I love them all.

Dear Kitty Hawk, unless my mind has totally abandoned me, I think someone posted an Eperons in lavendar? grey? Also, it seems to me there was an Axis Mundi CW 7 (I think CW 6 is pink) that was green and maybe lavendar?...............I bought it and am expecting it any day, but I am sure it has been posted already..................best, Bonnie

Thanks Bonnie! I did see those beautiful postings. I am also excited to see the Ors Bleus d'Afrique GM mousse and Galop Chromatique mousse stole for SS13. Can't wait to see your Axis Mundi (I never get tired of mousse pics, even if others have posted the same cw)!!
