Beautiful and bright! Congrats on the first of hopefully many....

Oh, just saw you got an Axis Mundi too! Please do post photos if you can-- the colors sound amazing!
Thank you! Here are the photos... So hard to capture. The flash less pictures are too dark and the flash makes the colored seem brighter than the are. It is actually very subtle. Will try again with natural light.

It is not a changeant. They had another that was lovely greens and a lime-ish color. Beautiful, but the SA said the Gris was better for me. In any case, it goes with more of my colors.

Oh wow, doloresmia - that gris is BEAUTIFUL! I love the colours - can't wait to see more pics when you get a chance! The lime cw sounds pretty too but this one seems very different from your other mousse, so great choice.

Here are a few pictures that show color better.

It is incredibly romantic

I wanted to share pictures of my Axis Mundi mousse in cw 08 rose indien/encre/rouge. The design is very subtle in this cw compared to the fuchsia and poudre cws (which I've now seen IRL) and I did not even notice the changeant when first viewing the mousse in the boutique but once I held it in natural light, I saw the beautiful hot pink shimmer! I tried to photograph the changeant and I think it shows up in the last photo. When worn, I think it appears more like a "flat" dark red, but you can definitely see the shimmer in certain lights and it's completely mesmerizing.

Thanks for letting me share!

SOOOOO Pretty! Such a nice red, must be so beautiful to see the shimmer! Congrats!

Ohhhh.......I love the subtle colors in this. It is beautiful! Congratulations on such a pretty mousse!

This is heavenly! It looks terrific on you.

I think "romantic" is exactly the word for this mousse pattern. May I ask if the lime was a changeant, and whether the pattern showed well on it in your opinion? I'm intrigued....

The lime is not changeant. The mousse is much thicker than the axis. I wonder whether it is to get the color so electric? Will have to collect a few older mousse.... Purely for research you understand.

:giggles:

Snuck off to a tropical paradise and the best part was that it had not only beaches, clear waters and great food...but an H boutique as well! As was fitting, the store had the biggest selections of mousselines I have ever seen. I was lucky enough to pick up this beauty I had not seen IRL before:

Aux Portes du Palais changeant in Turquoise fuchsia/vert ( thé changeant is purple--well, technically I guess it is fuchsia but it looks purple to me!) and Axis Mundi in Blue/Vert/Aubergine

Well, I have caved and ordered this-- these pictures are just too pretty to resist. I swear TPFers are a thousand times better than H.com at capturing the mousses; I'm not sure I would have ordered this one if I'd just been going by the official website photos!

Here is my first mousseline Eperon d'Or changeant which I bought on a whim not expecting too much .The mousselines I've tried in store were meh on me and I wasn't enamoured.
When it arrived I fell for it completely , it's far more beautiful IRL than I expected.[though changeant it ain't]
I would have preferred a 140 but in fact I like the stole shape a lot ,and I love the fact the lilac is tempered with grey , ointment pink and rouge H .
