So pretty! Thinking of starting a relationship here since i just moved here. How competitive is the Chicago store? Is it easy to get offered a QB? And is it harder to get offered a classic color or seasonal color?

I think it depends on your sales person a lot. Try to start a relationship with the most junior one here
All stores are competitive these days and 2-3:1 is a reasonable amount to start expectations everywhere.
It really comes down to your relationship with your SA. I’ve received 4 QB offers from last April to this April.
To clarify, you received four offers, you were not allowed to purchase four bags, correct?.
Technically it’s two calendar years so even if OP bought every offer, it’s within the standard “rules”.
I concur on finding a junior SA. It truly comes down to the relationship with your SA. I love mine. We are both huge foodies and discuss restaurants and our love for travel.
My first QB was 1:1 spend in Chicago then 2nd QB was 2:1.
I actually looked at the lovely responders previous posts on tPF because I was pretty shocked. I didn’t want to make it an accusatory response so instead, I turned it into a question.
I have a hard time believing that after hogging lots of bags for the reopening and then rushing to please many customers, they would have enough for two offers from August to end of last year and then we’re just in the fourth month of 2024, just doesn’t seem likely with 1:1- 2:1 prespend although of course as with anything H you never know.
The H game 🤣 but I do have a great relationship with my SA and she also loves my DH. I’m mostly a fine jewelry and RTW customer.
July 2023 - I was offered a B25 and K28 on the same day. I took the K28.
May 2023 - I was offered a C18 and accepted.
March 2024 - I was offered a K25 but turned this down.
April 2024 - I was offered a B25 and accepted of course.

Hi all! We’ll be heading into Chicago for a short weekend trip and will likely pay the Hermes store a quick visit. Unfortunately, we couldn’t make online appointments for a Saturday so hoping we can find a friendly SA. Out of curiosity, what’s pre spend / availability looking like these days? We don’t have an Hermes in our home state, and open to the possibility of switching to Chicago.
You don’t need an appointment to shop in chicago, you can just walk in. Once you find an SA you like, you can make an appointment with them directly next time but only for the purpose of them being available for you, not because you need one to enter.
Every SA I’ve met at the Chicago store has rubbed me the wrong way. I’ve met nicer SA’s at every other store I visited.
