Sorry, this may be a silly question… but how do you send your wishlists to your SA? Do you include everything that you are looking for, or just bags? How specific are you? I have been working with my SA for a few years now, and have an appointment for the opening, but I’m always a little hesitant to send her a wishlist unless she specifically tells me to update it. How long before the appointment should I send her an updated wishlist and how specific or long should I make it? I don’t ever want to come across as demanding or entitled which is why I struggle with this despite having a good relationship over the years.

I always update it every month or so when I purchase something from my SA and just say FYI for youe reference..etc, etc. BTW when is the opening? (Chi-Town is not my home store but just curious to stop in to see what it looks like; ironically my homestore is undergoing renovation too).

Thank you!! The opening is at the end of October. They will have private appointments only for a couple of days and then will open to the public I think on October 30 or 31.

I've been with my SA for a few years also, and I buy other stuff (non-quota bags, and not even leather goods) from all categories (including RTW, fine jewelry) regularly. So from time to time, I'd just say something like, this would fit that bag, I haven't gotten this yet, sort of thing. From time to time my SA would also ask me what I have in mind recently, so I send over a list I put together.

The way I see it, if you are regularly buying stuff from your SA, and are not *only* constantly asking for quota bags, I don't see how that can be perceived as demanding or entitled.

Hi I’ve only been with my SA for a year now and I’ve spent a fair amount I think about 2x in pre-spend compared to the quota bags I want. I haven’t received an offer yet though but I’m hoping that maybe I’ll get one at the store reopening. It sounds like it’s going to be packed though. Is it worth directly asking my SA if there will be any QBs from my wishlist available? How should I mention it to him?

Ask him if he’s taking appointments for the opening because you’d love to come in and shop. You should be able to read his response and take a hint from there, often for reopenings they will flat out ask the client for a bag list if it’s possible for the client (though definitely dont take a lack of asking as a definite no go).

So he actually offered me an appointment when I was shopping with him last week. I did take it but he didn’t mention anything about quota bags and I couldn’t get a read if that would be an option. I felt it was rude to ask, but have been thinking about it now. Any advice?

I usually just ask and most of the time get what I want sooner or later

Ok thank you! Last question - do you recommend just texting them before my October appointment and how far in advance? A couple of weeks? Is texting them ok?
My first choice is an in person conversation. Stop by and say that you are super excited about the appointment. You know there are no guarantees but you would love a QB X or QBY. If you can not come in and have to text, I would say something like: I am not sure I ever shared my wish list with you but I would really love an opportunity to buy x and y

A year is a long wait. Who is your SA at the store? I’ve only been with my SA for a few months. I know it takes a little while but 2x prespend a year without an offer makes me nervous!
