It’s official that they are opening on 10/30. There aren’t any private days, but my SA asked me to book an appointment for those first few days. He also told me he doesn’t know what he’s going to have, but there will be some merchandise (as always, they will never say they’ll have QB). However, I texted him what I want so he has my wishlist. I’m just assuming that if you get invited to an appointment on those first few days, you’ll receive something special. But who knows. Good luck everyone
To me knowledge there are private appointments on 28th and 29th. I have friends who are invited. Unfortunately I am not.
I second this. The cocktail party (invite-only, decided by corporate) is next Thursday, the 26th. 30 minute private appointments begin the day after? My friend has one on the 28th. There will be private appointments until it opens to the public on the 30th.
Ah Ok. Maybe it is my SA. He told me that 11/1 is his first day of working day. People who works with my SA got invited from 11/1-11/3. Congrats to people who got invited. I am sad that I didn’t get invited to cocktail party.

My SA mentioned that she's fully booked on Monday 10/30 (I'm leaving for a trip on 10/31). She said she could add my name if I just wanted to look around the new store. That's about the closest we got to talking about an appointment. I'm satisfied with going to the cocktail party and seeing her mid-November, albeit not for a "private opening appointment". Please share what you get! I'm looking forward to seeing everyone's offers.

I’ve seen at least 4 picnics from Chicago, a Kelly padded, a himalaya, and more! They’re infrequent, but they do arrive. Hopefully there will be more now that Chicago is a flagship.
Actually all of my unicorns have been from the Chicago store. I have had a great experience shopping there. I think they have a lot to offer in terms of all lines of product. They have even able to source one of products for me in RTW etc.
I was not invited to the cocktail party but have an appointment on the 27th. I asked about the party and was told corporate decided. I know they want spenders at the first appointments and while I am not a huge spender compare to many others, my SA knows I am planning on buying some jewelry. While I would love a QB at that appointment, if they do not have anything or do not have what I want, I assume one will follow shortly after
