I was not invited to the cocktail party but have an appointment on the 27th. I asked about the party and was told corporate decided. I know they want spenders at the first appointments and while I am not a huge spender compare to many others, my SA knows I am planning on buying some jewelry. While I would love a QB at that appointment, if they do not have anything or do not have what I want, I assume one will follow shortly after
I hope you get what you’re looking for!

The new store is beautiful. Bright, open and an exquisite VIP floor (probably the only time I will get to see that!). There is a lot of cool art on the walls - I am not sure if that stays permanently but I hope so.

Overall, it looks like there is room for more stock and I hope that’s true going forward! I’ve never seen so much jewelry! Men’s section is far more sizable than the two racks there were prior. There were a few “display only” bags, including a picnic Kelly and lots of wallets. For those shopping in the next week or so, you will have lots of eye candy.

My favorite though was the Hermes in the Making at Union Station. If you can make it this weekend, please go! It will be open to the public. I have an appreciation for the products now that I never did before. For example, at scarves, I met a colorist that says it takes one person 3-4 months to perfect the color and shading for one scarf that is approximately 25 colors. More colorful scarves can take up to one year. And that’s just for coloring, which is before the framing and screening to silk, which can also take months. Amazing.

What is a VIP floor?

Oh, I forgot to mention that at the Union Station exhibit, they had large square swatches of all of the leathers, probably 2 feet across. It was great to see all of the leathers in such large form. And now I want something in box leather when I’ve always been a Togo girl.

Here’s just a couple of bag pics from the exhibit. I didn’t take any at the store. I was enjoying the wine. No regrets

I believe the art will stay permanently. The one on the stairs up to the third floor is from a previous FSH window display! I thought that was a cool fact.
