Just because Chicago didn't order them doesn't mean he could not secure a pair from say Denver for example (if Denver ordered them). If he's is unwilling to check on the ipad or order for you from online if online gets them, that's not great customer service on his part.

He’s not the warmest guy so that’s probably why. I haven’t spent a ton with him but still a substantial amount for me. i should really find another SA.

Thanks for replying. That is disappointing to hear. Though I still might swing by anyways just out of curiosity since I’ll be in the neighbourhood. Happy to hear about your successful shopping experience with your shoes and shawl!

Always worth checking out though, imo. The SA I was working with said Fall stuff would start trickling in soon. Also, the target date for the remodel is some time in October. I’m willing to bet their buyer(s) will want to flood the store with merchandise in time for the opening whenever that really is. I’m hoping by that time my pre-spend will naturally be at quota bag offer level. Maybe. lol

So just wanted to report back on my quick visit last week. I walked in around midday last Wednesday and it was already quite busy. Three customers trying on shoes upstairs. There were maybe ten pieces of RTW on the racks and a few folded sweaters. The SAs politely acknowledged and welcomed me and said someone would be with me shortly. I could clearly see they were running around like chickens so I just did a quick walk around and left. There was very little inventory anyways and I was only browsing out of curiosity so I didn’t want to waste anyone’s time. I can’t wait for the new remodeled store to reopen. This current location is claustrophobic!
