Hi! I’ve havent been to Chicago proper in a few years and am going for a work trip soon that overlaps with my birthday! I’m hoping the Chicago boutique will be a fun experience. Wondering if it’s still as well stocked as March when the poster above asked
I’m going to Chicago next month for work (Friday through Monday). I tried to make an appointment online for Friday but I noticed weekends are blocked off. Is that normal? I was hoping to get some shoes and a non-quota bag … no purchase history, just a few pieces online.
I’ve never tried the appointment system for this boutique so not sure about things being blocked, but you should be able to just walk-in and have an available SA help you. Depending on the time of day, Friday can be busy - so you might need to wait for someone to free up to help you. Note Saturday is a commonly a busy day with both scheduled and unscheduled appointments, plus it’ll be the holiday weekend - so I expect more people to be visiting. I’d recommend going Friday if you can.
Friday is my “free day” so that’s when I was planning on coming in. There’s a few things I’d like to get but I’d LOVE to get a Picotin 22. Is that ever possible on a first visit?
It depends on what color(s) you are interested in, as well as stock (noting that we just had Mother’s Day and graduations are going on). I do not typically see Picotins in the bag display, but they may be in the back. Hope you are able to get one!
Hi! The Chicago store has inventory as I've was just there this weekend. Was offered a cargo Picotin (Orange), Lindy 26 (Anenome) and a Verrou chaine mini (Etoupe). This was my 1st time in Chicago and felt they had more and was willing to offer more than my home store.

Ok, another question: if you find an SA you like but you don't live in the city (Chicago, for instance), can you have bags (non-quota) bags shipped to your house out of state? I do this with my Chanel SA after I bought something in the store. Will they do that for you at Hermes as long as you purchase something in the store initially?
This would be subject to manager approval. Really depends on the bag and your relationship with the store and can change over time.

I would not start a new H boutique relationship with the assumption that I could get items shipped out of state.

Best bet is to have your SA search their iPad for them. Its likely that they haven’t hit USA stores yet. Eventually they will also be online and your SA can order them that way.
