My SA also left about 2 months ago and he was an absolute gem. I do know that the inventory is quite low on all fronts. Let us know how your Friday visit goes and happy early birthday to you! So had to follow up on my last post. Had a great visit with my new SA.

Last week and this week we had been texting back and forth just going through some of things I would like to see. On Monday he has text me asking what I thought of pink and he sent me a picture of a pink leather swatch. . He wasn’t able to tell me what it was until our appt. I also did learn this week that I knew him from another boutique so that made the interactions so much easier!

At our appt, I didn’t get to do much browsing. From what I did see, they really didn’t have much. Got to see the items that I asked to see in my texts, some ready to wear and jewelry. Decided on some rtw and then he had me meet him in fine jewelry and presented me with my first offer…Constance 18 Rose extreme. I nearly fell off the chair it was love. . Needless to say I said yes.

We did review my wishlist and made some changes. He was really upfront and said that it can be a while before I would get an offer from my wishlist, which is totally fine. And I appreciated his transparency.

So from this visit I picked up a Constance 18, and two sweaters. Probably won’t be back in the boutique until early spring. ‍♀️

But when we were looking at Apple Watches, they brought out 3 Birkin's to show to a woman right next to us. I was shocked. I even asked, "Oh, is that a 35 in Togo with GHW?" and the SA who was boxing it up said, "I don't know." and walked away. They have inventory, they just don't want to give it up. My new SA (Joseph) has been there for a couple of months and knows my birthday is coming up. My fingers are crossed he comes through. He was really pushing a necklace and earrings. But I don't really wear jewelry, except a watch, and my ears aren't pierced. I could sense his disappointment when I didn't purchase each piece. We've got this. Good luck!



Yes, we discussed my wishlist and made sure it was UTD. The SA basically said, you should've taken those offers when you had them because you won't be seeing a bag for a while, if ever. I'm remaining optimistic, though!

Updating this - my SA came through with a Kelly Long Wallet in Alligator in Beige Sable, phw for my birthday. Woohoo!

Hi all. Had a question about rtw availability at this boutique. Had to go back and make an exchange on my sweaters, as they were a tad too big. Was able to get one of my sweaters exchanged for a smaller size but the other needed to be ordered from another location. I also ordered a top as well from another location.

But it seems that they don’t have much in terms of rtw, is this because of our current situation, with stock being low in all categories? Or is this common for this location.

Ive started to dabble into Hermès rtw, and there are some gorgeous pieces out there. Only thing is, I don’t have the opportunity to go in often to see what’s available. My SA and I had a conversation about my overall style and aesthetic and said he would keep an eye out for me.

I guess my question is for this location, what is the best way to stay on top of RTW so I don’t miss out.

You should let your SA know any specific items you are interested in and any categories of RTW you most look for (for example, knitwear or leather or coats, etc, etc). After a few purchases, a good SA will get an idea of the kinds of stuff you like and reach out to you as things come in that you may like even if you haven’t asked for the specific item. You should also ask your SA to let you know when they are having their season preview/trunk shows, where they are bringing in a lot more pieces.

As for Chicago stock, I last went in December and it was very bare in RTW. I still found a top and bottom I liked, but it was slim pickings. The bottom was not available in my size and had to be ordered. There was more to choose from in early November and I was able to get a few great items then. My SA told me to give it a few weeks into the new year for stock to come in.

Also, I understand the store will temporarily move sometime this year as they undergo construction to expand their current location (that will take about a year). I don’t know what that will do to stock during the temporary relocation, but I understand the intent is to have a lot more inventory once construction is complete.

Curious to know if anyone has been to the Chicago boutique lately, and how are their inventory for shoes and RTW? Going to be visiting Tuesday and hoping to get a few items there :) thanks!

I was there last week. Rtw is getting sold out FAST. Most of the popular s/s items are gone. If you have a SA, you should contact him/her to hold onto stuff for you!

Lot's of super nice SA's in Chicago. I'd say try going to the store a few times until you really click with someone. You don't even have to buy anything when you go in unless you really like the person...they don't track if you came in and didn't buy! Everyone (you as the buyer and the SA) each has different personalities, so I can't speak to how you will click with any one SA.

Hi fellow fans! Any updates, please, on non-quota bags at this boutique? I'm flying in and would love to pick up something for my mom. Was reading through the threads.... sigh, how lovely it was that in 2006 people could walk in and get K's.

Hi there! I was in the boutique about a month ago and there is practically nothing for non-quota bags. They had 2 E's and 1 GP when I was picking up my B30. They also just moved to a new temporary location, so again, not sure what their availability is like now. I'd reach out to an SA and ask, but most of their departments are extremely limited. :)
