Well it is cheaper in France by a few bucks however what really makes a huge difference for non european residents is the fact that u get your taxes (VAT) refunded. For example in France the VAT is 12% (if I recall it correctly...). So let's say I wanna buy a Speedy 35, it costs 500 euros in France (including taxes). Once you convert to US$ and remove taxes it comes to 615$.

Relax, I think what she means is one of the stores/boutiques in Sweden. We don't have PREMIUM OUTLETS in Asia (Japan is the only country I know that has) so when we say outlet it means the store/boutique of that particular brand.

Hi - Sorry but LV does not have Any Outlets. Ladies and Gentlemen, LV does not EVER go on sale, it is NEVER discounted and there are NO outlets.

Middleeast!. I just checked the prices last mth & compare 3 bags!
M'sia- Totally mm (3850RM/ US1257)
Middleeast (US1013) I save 20% here due to currency exchange rate

Is it just me, or has anyone else noticed that the price of used bags in Japan has gone through the roof in the last week or so. In some cases it seems as though they've all but doubled!

Last December I paid 9612 HKD (920 Euros at the time I bought it, 860 Euros as of today due to the USD's weakness) for a big Damier Graphite messenger bag (Daniel GM) in Macau. I believe the price in Hong Kong is similar as they are both duty free regions. The price in Taiwan is NT$43,700 (about 20% more), in South Korea this bag costs 1,670,000 Won (a bit more than in Taiwan), in Japan it costs 127,050 JPY (30% more than in HK) and the prices in mainland China are so high they don't even list them on the website. The Louis Vuitton store in my current city is under renovation but I will go check one out in Shanghai when I have time to see the prices. The US and UK prices are quite decent at 1260 USD and 760 pounds respectively.

The same bag only costs 840 Euros in France, 855 Euros in Germany and 865 Euros in Italy but foreigners can get the VAT off so that would make it cheaper for non-Europeans.

I just went to a Louis Vuitton store in Mainland China and it was cheaper than most people told me. My bag costs 6900 RMB and back in December it was 9600 RMB, around US$1470.

I'd say France it's cheaper after the VAT refund and currency conversion, as Euro dollar was weak before.
Months ago, i had my friend bought me a Hampstead MM in Paris, it's almost 1000 cheaper after the currency conversion. It's really a great deal :)
