Charlie on Chuck Lorre: "I violently hate Chaim Levine. He's a stupid, stupid little man and a p***y punk that I'd never want to be like. That's me being polite. That piece of $**t [Lorre] took money out of my pocket, my family's pocket, and, most importantly, my second family -- my crew's pocket. You can tell him one thing. I own him."

He insists on calling him "Chaim" because that's Chuck Lorre's Hebrew name. Very telling, I think.

He disgusts me. He might be unwell, but he's had many chances and threw them all away. He is selfish and I do believe that the rants were anti-Semitic. I do hope that the network will find a way to pay the production folks their salaries.

Can the network sue him to recoup funds?

^^^I'm guessing he's gonna be hit with many lawsuits. He's going to end up broke.
His disease is in complete and full control. I can't help feeling something horrible is going to happen soon.

No, there is no confirmation that he is BP or has another mental illness. I just think that is the most likely thing given what's happening. I could be wrong, and I certainly don't mean to promote misinformation.

But yes, it is very likely that this will end up ruining him - either financially and socially or by taking his life. Neither option is good.

And why do so many people show an anti-semitic side when they freak out? Doubly disgusting on top of everything else he's said and done, IMO.

When you listen to him speaking so rapidly and he really was enunciating clearly (though it was all illogical) it sound like someone is a manic phase or else on a huge amount of amphetemines. I can't diagnose him, but what we've seen the last few months sure resembles the cycle of bi-polar (manic-depressive as it used to be called) illness.

I'm not so sure he can be held legally responsible for the cancellation of the show and/or end up having to make any kind of financial payouts to anyone, i.e., the cast. Especially if there does end up being a medical reason behind all the madness and his 'fall from grace." I think that's why the show hasn't been officially canceled as of yet -- he still has a year left on his contract and I'm sure CBS' lawyers are going to make sure they have an iron-clad reason for firing him and ending his contract

If he had showed up on the set in this condition and wasn't able to get through his lines and/or the taping of an actual show, they'd have their grounds, but I bet this is a sticky situation since all of this has taken place off camera and away from the set.

It's just like if a person was sick or had a terminal illness -- an employer couldn't fire that person just because they were sick. They'd have to have cause for termination, i.e., too many missed days, being unable to fulfill the duties of your job, etc. Even though his behavior has been erratic and manic, I'm sure this is part of the reason he's indicated that he's showing up for work on Monday (or Tuesday - whatever day it was supposed to be) -- that way, he can say he showed up, ready for work and it was the network and producer that shut down production. To be honest I wouldn't be surprised if they end up paying HIM in order to end his contract or the show

LOS ANGELES -- Charlie Sheen was looking Saturday to sell a tell-all book to publishers, with a starting price of $10 million, according to TMZ.

Sheen told the gossip website that the book, still being written, would lay bare his life behind the scenes of hit TV show "Two and a Half Men" -- and what led up to producers shutting it down after eight years.

The troubled star even has a working title for the book, "When the Laughter Stopped," and expects publishers to start the bidding at $10 million.

CBS and Warner Bros. canceled the rest of this season's production Thursday after the actor publicly criticized its creator, Chuck Lorre.

Sheen was watching the fallout from the implosion from the Bahamas, where he is currently on vacation with young female companions. He is still contracted to CBS for next year, reportedly for $1.2 million per episode of the sitcom.

^^Not knowing what his contract says, some states are *at will* and employers can fire a person for no reason at all. The employee can appeal it but there doesn't have to be a good reason. No idea if Cali is an at will state for employers. Many employers are more compassionate than firing for no reason, fortunately.

edited: I looked it up and *at will* applies in the absence of a contract or collective bargaining agreement. Never mind.

If he is saying the crazy stuff he's saying in public, you can only guess what he has said to people (his bosses) in private. They aren't going to pull the plug as a knee jerk reaction. They most likely have just cause.
