^I saw a blurb on the interview where he says he's on a drug called Charlie Sheen. He has grandiosity along with paranoia. That last interview was full of references to winning, defeat is not an option, he's a fighter plane, etc., etc.

My son works in a hospital neuro-psych clinic and he said the consensus is (admittedly their doctors haven't examined Charlie) he's bi-polar and a lot of coke will increase the mania.

Yea, I said the other night that to read the words is one thing, but when he hear his voice and hear this stuff just pouring out of him -- he really does sound manic and not at all well -- his voice is all hoarse and gruffy, and the speed at which the words fly out of his mouth is unbelievable. He goes from one topic to another and with every suggestion or questions asked, he's got this immediate incoherent response.

I can't believe that 20/20 agreed to an interview and air that interview this week. It's so obvious that this is someone that's having a mental breakdown right before our eyes --the TV cameras and notoriety only motivates him to continue down this path

I have to wonder if this is why he left the country -- so that his father couldn't pursue a conservatorship over him.

Agreed.

Charlie Sheen to ‘Today Show’: “People Will Be Begging Me to Work”
Charlie Sheen taped a riveting interview today with NBC’s Jeff Rossen to air tomorrow on the “Today Show” at 7:30 a.m.

Among Sheen’s claims is that he’s 100 percent drug-free, and that he’s taken tests to prove it.

Gossip Cop has learned Sheen tells Rossen, “Rock bottom is for fools.”

He also refutes that he’s anti-Semitic, after referring to “Two and a Half Men” creator and executive producer Chuck Lorre as “Chaim Levine.”

“Look at my manager Mark Burg,” says Sheen about his Jewish rep.

But his most explosive comments were about his future and CBS.

When asked whether he might have a hard time now getting work, Sheen told the ‘Today Show”: “I don’t beg for work. People will be begging me to work.”

As for his employer CBS, Sheen tells Rossen that he’s demanding an apology from the network, which he says is destroying his family. He vows that he’ll fight to protect his family from CBS.

What do you think about Sheen’s comments, and will you be watching the full interview tomorrow?

I will admit I might actually watch 20/20 even though I never ever watch it. I am curious to see what kind of crazy he spews forth. He clearly lives in his own delusional world.

I would like to see him on the Today show in the morning though because I think watching live would be a much better way to judge how far he's gone vs. an edited interview.

he's doing an interview w/The Today show too?
I just saw a preview for the GMA interview (they're airing parts of the 20/20 interview on GMA this week) and he looks as bad as he sounds -- his hair is a mess, his face looks all rugged, his eyes are blackened and tired looking.

He really looks and sounds like he's having a mental breakdown -- I get why these networks would want to air these interviews, but at the same time, would they be jumping thru hoops to an interview w/a person who's dying and/on their deathbead? I'm not saying Charlie is terminally ill, but he's obviously not well and a very sick man

What is the verdict on the women that are hanging out with him?? Are they on drugs as well or just gold diggers?? I can't even imagine the energy it would take to be with him 24/7 as a sober person.

They said he was going to be on during the 7:30 hour - I have no idea if that is East Coast or West Coast. I think it was Chris Harrison that said it during his red carpet Oscar stuff today.

Oh, then that must be the GMA-20/20 interview (the same one I was talking about earlier) -- the Oscars were on ABC, so they wouldn't be promoting The Today Show, which is on NBC.

Well, the drug tests performed during the interview were clean. Granted, that only means about 24 hours clean for the blood test and maybe 72 hours clean for the urine test, but clean. His speech wasn't quite as manic, but he still used the grandiose terms about himself and some of the same expressions.

And maybe it's just me, but he looked tired, haggard. I can see him looking like some of those drug posters in the up to the minute forum soon.
