And the texts keeping coming.
A defiant Charlie Sheen texted ABC's Good Morning America today, insisting he's 100 percent sober and is still planning to turn up for work next week on Two and a Half Men. This despite the fact that CBS and Warner Bros. Television shut down production for the rest of the season after the actor slammed the show's creator, Chuck Lorrewhat appears to be the last straw in an ongoing, bitter feud.
Here's what Sheen had to say this morning.

In a series of texts, the 45-year-old actor slammed Lorre as a "clown" and "loser." He also repeated what he told Radar Online yesterdaythat he's in talks with HBO about headlining his own show called Sheen's Corner at $5 million per episode (think this is news to HBO execs?) and that he is willing to take a drug test on camera to prove he's clean.
Tough luck, says a source close to the production. Even if Sheen shows up, there won't be anything for him to do. Our Two and a Half Men insider says the set will be closed for the rest of the season and no oneSheen includedwill be getting paid. No determination has been made on whether TV's No. 1 comedy will remain shuttered beyond the four episodes left in the current season.
Yesterday, Sheen called into syndicated radio's The Alex Jones Show from the Bahamas, where he has been vacationing with ex-wife Brooke Mueller, new girlfriend Natalie Kenly and porn star Bree Olson.
During a rambling and bizarre rant, the tube superstar called Lorre by the Hebrew version of his name, Chaim Levine, which some felt was anti-Semitic. Sheen said he "violently hated" Lorre, also labeling his boss a "turd" and a "pussy punk that I'd never want to be like."
Within hours, CBS and Warner Bros. TV pulled the plug on Two and Half Men for the remainder of the season citing the "totality of Charlie Sheen's statements, conduct and condition."
In an open letter sent to TMZ after that announcement, Sheen remained unbowed, promising to kick "contaminated little maggot" Lorre's butt in an Ultimate Fighting cage match and urging fans to stand by Sheen to "right this unconscionable wrong."
Sheen also defended his new squeeze to GMA, insisting that Kenly is a graphic designer (not another porn star, as some wags have suggested, although she was named "Official Chronic Girl 2010" by the marijuana-loving magazine Cali Chronic X) whom he rescued, though it's unclear from what.
Asking if he were sober, Kenley told the morning show: "We don't use the word 'sober' in this house, we use 'clean,' and he is clean."
To which Sheen added: "I have 'mondo' gratitude for this life.," he wrote. "Life is a fantasy."
Enjoy it while it lasts, Charlie.
An HBO spokesperson confirmed to EW that the cable network has no deal in place to do a new show with Charlie Sheen. During one of the actors strange rants on Thursday, he texted Radaronline and said he plans to move to HBO and star in a program that will be epic and feature all types of guests and we will focus on the truth and the absurd!
He also claimed his new show, dubbed Sheens Corner, would pay him $5 million an episode. He currently earns $1.2 million an episode for headlining Two and A Half Men.
Even if Sheen were lucky enough to land a show any place else, he remains under contract with Warner Bros. TV through a ninth season of Two and A Half Men. He wont be paid for the remainder of Mens current season now that production has been suspended.
But why on earth did Sheen land on a network like HBO? Its likely the actor whos making all these statements while vacationing in the Bahamas chose the premium network because its the polar opposite of CBS and is considered a haven for creative freedom.
No, he cant die, his success rate is 100% and he has an octagon!!!
This is so sad, its as if he has snapped, lost all touch with reality.
I am so sorry for his family. This is the kind of thing you cannot come back from, i think.
Holy guano, Batman! After CBS shut down the mega-hit that is Two and a Half Men, after Sheen called his boss, Chuck Lorre, a "turd" and a "clown" and threw in some "borderline" anti-Semitism, friends to Lorre and workers on the set have plenty to say.
But who's got the bigger beef here? TV genius Lorre, who created the show, or the working men and women who are now out of a paycheck?
We vote those who are trying to pay their billsand who have had difficulty paying them in the past, due to Sheen's previous unsuccessful attempts with "rehab":
"[Charlie's] the screw-up here," *****ed one key Two crew member, who's fed up with being on-and-off with his job's status.
"[Charlie] is such an ass-wipe, I hope some hooker, or some porn star gives him something that f--ks with him as much as he's f--ked with us."
This crew is definitely not holding back.
"Is Charlie going to pay my lost salary now?" complained another integral Two staffer, "That 'turd' can pay my mortgage, and he should, it's not right."
True enough, Sheen has made attempts to somewhat compensate his worker-bees' shriveled paychecks in the past. But let's just say the 45-year-old star's bill for doing so just got a whole lot heftier, if he chooses to do so in the future.
Which we think he certainly should. And the crew does, too.
As to what Lorre's friends think of Sheen's stunning continued diatribes against Chuck and the hit comedy, let's just say shocked doesn't exactly cover it.
"I have never seen anything like this," said a Lorre coworker, who refused to see anything more. Another colleague wasn't quite as tight-lipped:
"Yeah, Chuck can sometimes be outspoken," the Lorre source explained, possibly referring to Lorre's highly entertaining, and deeply personal vanity cards. "And sometimes he can be a schmuck at work, sometimes. But he does not deserve this at all. Nobody does. Charlie Sheen is a truly horrible man."
Can't say we'd add much more to that description!
