As far as I've been told recently, the Chanel boutique is leased and the shoes are for some strange reason still under NM. You should be able to order shoes from the shoe department as long as NM has ordered them. If they haven't ordered them, then I believe you can't.

How well stocked is the Chanel boutique on Geary in terms of classic bags and SLGs? And how is the service there if I’m a walk-in customer? I’m stopping by SF and will have one afternoon free to shop for a present for myself (from my husband lol). I’m debating going to Chanel in SF or to 3-5 stores I love at the Stanford mall south of there. I only have time for either one.

With my limited times at Stanford, not really. But I’m not a regular there. I think regulars get what they want. Try SF NM. Lines are usually short. And people quite nice.
I agree with going to Neiman and Marcus over the boutique. Better customer service, nice people, and decent selection. Not sure how the selection compares to the boutique but last time I went I found more of what I wanted at NM and a better experience.
I shop at both, Sanford NM and SF boutique. I would say the SF boutique has more stock, but honestly it's all going so fast it really depends on if they've just gotten shipment. Maybe call before and mention that you can come today and purchase?
I was at the SF Boutique 2 days ago and there was a nice amount of stock for SLGs and some classics. A girl found a black CF with SHW. I saw several card holders and zip card holders and long wallets. There were even 2 heart wristlets. The NM Chanel had lots and lots of pink stock. I saw a lot of C19s and C22s. Customer service is definitely better at the NM location.
Super disappointed that the South Bay Chanel’s are either delayed or canceled. Even VCA had a pop up last month & then there’s Chanel :/
There was meant to be 2 Chanel boutiques from what I understood one outside in the mall and one In Nordstrom. The one inside the mall seems to have been canceled and the Nordstrom Chanel boutique is still Under construction.
