What?! My friend told me it was first come first serve so if you just got there in the morning how can it all be gone? They are only able to sell today and no sooner so maybe they are still doing reservations… maybe to VIPs?

What did you see from 22S collection? I am planning to go on Saturday.

I went to a NM in Palo Alto yesterday and they confirmed it was all reserved for "VIPs"

Has anyone shopped with SA "Noah" at the standalone on Geary? I bought from him once remotely and had a positive experience. But, I have been texting him for months now, with either a generic out of office text reply, or no reply at all. I'm starting to wonder if he's even with that location/the company anymore. I am a little annoyed that if another SA owns his phone, that I couldn't get a simple text back stating he's no longer there, IF that's the case. I've also tried calling the store direct but got the off-site CA, who promised she'd send a message to the store and I'd get a response in 1-2 days, and now it's past that.
Hoping someone here knows anything about Noah and if he's gone.
I feel like the SF boutique SAs are not consistent…. Noah is there I walked by the other day and saw him. I had him once as well and used to text him too he rarely replies…

I honestly think sf Chanel has the worst service out of the many I have shopped at. The one time I had an amazing SA there was when an SA from Vegas came in to train them! I’m sorry to hear that but I have a nice contact at Neimans across the street if you need one

thank you, yes, i prefer the NM location now as well I met a new SA there last year. They are much friendlier and attentive there. When I am desperate (LOL) for a piece or some beauty items I can’t get @ NM I sadly have to cross the street to the SF boutique … my first SA at SF boutique was the sweetest and most patient SA.. sadly she left, i bought my very first Jumbo through her a decade ago.

There was a time where I got assigned to a known bad SA @ SF boutique and at that time I had forgotten the name of this SA that I got on the SA thread… but the next time I got her … I quickly saw another SA that helped me once before and asked her if I can just wait for her to help me. So glad for those that share their experiences here:heart:

My friend’s cousin (super vip) actually got one… yes they were already all spoken for VIPs … if there were any pieces left that the VIPs did not want then they would have been available… i think the only piece I would have access to is the wristlet or belt bag which I don't have any use for. Sadly not sure if I’ll ever get to VIP status … my spend is only at the bottom 6 figures from last year and I don’t have much RTW purchases mostly shoes, bags, custom jewelry, and other accessories…. So if I am desperate enough… which I sometime am.. I would go the reseller route even though I tell myself DON’T DO IT!! :cursing:

They bring bag hot bags sometimes but when they do this for the ♥️bag not sure we would have much chance to purchase one!

Still annoyed Chanel back out the plan to open a free standing boutique at Valley Fair. There was suppose to be a huge boutique in the expansion side of VF, but Chanel backed out and only opened a beauty boutique and the yet to open shop in shop inside nordstrom. With all the major luxury stores at vf is there a reason Chanel is absent here.
I wonder why they decided to do that? :confused1: With the new expanded wing, a chanel boutique would fit right in. The beauty boutique is nice and Im looking forward to the nordstrom location, but a full sized boutique would have been ideal

South Bay definitely NEEDS another Chanel location and it wouldnt hurt for SAKS to show up as an anchor to VF mall.

Thank you for this update. He did miraculously FINALLY replied to me---after I spoke with customer service inquiring about a new SA due to Noah's lack of responsiveness. Coincidence? Probably not. And it sounds like based upon your feedback, this may be his M.O. It really is rather annoying. This is my second attempt at finding a good SA there, and it looks like maybe I might have to look for another one again. I prefer making purchases with those that provide very good customer service. Sad part is, I'd really just like to walk in and try in shoes myself without being attached to an SA, and without having to wait outside to be let in. Not sure if they're taking walk-ins now. I really don't want to give my purchase to an SA I'm not satisfied with.

I totally agree with you on the SF standalone having horrible service. Which is also why I seldom go there anymore if I can help it (I think the last time I set foot in there was 3 years ago). I, too, prefer NM.

We’re visiting from out of town so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I waited in line for over an hour (granted the new collection just launched) at the standalone boutique on Friday afternoon and had good service, but my experience was far superior at NM the next morning with no wait and a nicer SA who treated us really well. Ended up with an extra bag I wasn’t even planning on buying. My vote goes to NM.

Noah was one of my SAs and I was told by the manager of the store that he stopped working there for 2 months. This was June 2021. I texted him for about 1-2 months about my bag that I brought in for after sale repair, but never got a reply. I got frustrated with the generic out of office reply too.

Yeah I agree. Worst service ever. I could never get any CFs there even when I was told that they have them in store and I could stop by to pick them up. Once I got there, they said it’s already “reserved” by VIPs even though they are in stock. What a waste of time. I normally just get my CFs via phone now from other US boutiques.
