Did you size down for this or take your normal size. My normal size looked really oversized but the size down is not available so I’m wondering whether to risk ordering or just take the normal size

Finally had the time to try my new items at home.

I bought the black jacket too but the shoulders didn’t look as good on me as they did on you! The padded shoulders were kind of jutting out, a tad big if it makes sense. Did you do any alterations to the jacket? Also, I had to size up on this on as the chest was tighter than usual, did you also size up? Thanks!

I think it looks good on you! Yes, the shoulders are low, but I think they are meant to look like this. I fill them out, I have wide shoulders. The sleeves are a bit long on you, if you decide to shorten them, they can lift the shoulders at the same time. The arm holes are a bit small, that’s why it pulls the chest on me, it’s a bit small on the chest too, but I love the look.
I took my usual size.

Thank you! Yes i thought i’d bring it to the tailors today to have them take in the shoulders, that might just make the sleeves the right length without having to shorten the sleeves. I love the single button look too it’s so chic!

I tried it on but it was off on my frame. Shoulders too slouchy, the cut was neither exactly at waist nor at hip. I passed on it. Due to chanel increase in prices, I have become much more selective. Hope it works for others as it is a beautiful jacket

finally found a non-black top that goes well with this jacket

I have been debating if I should shorten the sleeve to “bracelet” length but worried the tweed pattern on the sleeve will not align with the body with this type of adjustment

Sharing ootd in the camel jacket and also other try ons during preview at my local store today. Everything went home with me except the dress.

Also, any thoughts/preferences on wearing a double breasted jacket? I’d always felt that wearing them unbuttoned creates more bulk around the lower torso area and loses the tailored shape, however I generally like to wear my jackets unbuttoned and would rather not let that thought get in my way of getting a double breasted jacket with a beautiful tweed.

Just to rant: Also broke up with an overseas SA today for not getting items she had reserved for me on her own accord. Out of the 7 items bought locally today, she only had 1 available. Still in a little shock over the total change in attitude, clearly 150k usd worth of purchases from her in the past two months was not enough for her. Wow. I was naive.

24P! It’s the reversible one that also comes in a vest and a non-reversible hooded cardigan, depending on what your store has ordered.
