A classic jacket that looks absolutely great on you!
thank you Ari.
Seems like the prices are definitely going mad - is the t shirt trimmed in gold ?!
I recall that Nicolas Ghesquiere did a renaissance collection for Balenciaga SS2006. Back then Balenciaga was very hot, and the only way to secure a jacket or a hot item was to show up at their trunk show and pre-order with a 50% deposit. In that collection, there was a rock & roll tank top which came in two versions. The fancy version had pearls and other embroideries all around. It was so special. ("Devils in Balenciaga" was printed on it) I think it was retailed for $1,500 or so. It was probably the first 4-digit tank top back then and you could see everyone's face when they saw the price tag (the radzmir jackets were high $2k with silk inside and out and hand painted buttons). Regardless, your comment just brought back my fond memories...

Talking which, does Chanel still do trunk shows or lunches nowadays? I went through a period of Chanel hiatus so I'm no longer "current" in my Chanel knowledge.

Perhaps in a few years time we will also look back and think what a bargain it is! Would be interesting to get more details in due course but I doubt I will be buying this! I'd be interested to know about Chanel lunches or trunk shows - I know Chanel does the Paris fashion shows but something more local would be great so we can see the new collection pieces close up and a nice touch for the Chanel lovers.

They do Virtual Boutique experience with the Covid situation. But the last one I saw was for spring summer collection.
